I've been looking at those Fleor pickups but was worried about pulling the trigger on them. They seem to sound nice. It's hard to tell on a UA-cam video, are they more vintage sounding or hotter like Texas Specials or something?
They are more vintage sounding. I put some hot ones in another tele I built
I posted a new video comparing these pickups to some hot ones if you want to check it out.
Nice ! You really got me thinking about getting a kit. I want a 335 but maybe should start with a telecaster.
A tele is going to be a little easier for a first kit. But there are plenty of videos on 335’s to help you out
