Seoul is a wonderful vibrant creative city, no wonder you love it! And the city's moves at Cheonggyecheon Stream are inspired - we should learn from this! Toronto is full of underground streams that have been paved/built over. What a great space, thank you for sharing!
Enjoyed the video, it’s always nice to see redevelopment in an urban area that returns an area back to nature. Out of curiosity I checked out this area on Google Earth (the app, not website) and found a time capsule view of the area from back in 2002 when the highway was there. Seeing the picture it’s impressive the highway engineers here were able to remove it and not cause massive havoc in the city with regards to traffic flow in the city.
Love the video thanks mate. Lots of walkers along that stream. Are people allowed to go jogging on that stream? Not sure I saw any runners in the video. Thanks in advance.
Thanks very much for this amazing video Johnny!
You're welcome and thank you so much for the super Henry! I hope you can visit and stream from here some day, it's an amazing spot!
Never tire of seeing Cheonggyecheon Stream. So beautiful and peaceful.

Oh neat I'll have to take a look at that!
I think that white bird was an egret. Lovely city area.

Good afternoon from the UK😊
Reminds me of the New York City High Line!
good morning everyone
👋🌞
5:18 I just cycled into Seoul and this, the bike path that did not exist when I was here last in 2018, was the first thing i noticed.
I am going in a few months to visit my daughter and can't wait to see this stream. Thank you for posting this video.
nice place to live and work

I think they do but usually they do it alongside the stream up top at street level (where there's a footpath and bike path, less obstacles).
🚯 ♻️ 😂 Johnny problem ⚠️ solving 👍 3:00 noise 🔊
lol
How nice Toronto could be without the Gardiner!
We can dream lol
Did you know that this stream was based off of the rideau canal?
I heard it inspired the guy who first proposed it.
John I noise the young couples were holding hands, older married couples weren't holding hands , that's sad😢
You have to say Cheonggyecheon or Cheonggye Stream.
because korean "cheon" means stream.
