I suggest you schedule a short course m talk about an informal course just be hands-on . From when the cows arrive from auction, medication phase, background, 90 days cycle month 1, month 2, ready for slaughter. We will pay, I mean to attend 3 times a week . Just to be sure we understand what is explained ko you tube. I mean we will know from the beginning is not accredited. I would like to be your student

Hi oom Anton, thanks a lot for the informative videos.
With regards to the backgrounding phase, lets say you buy a super at 160kg, how many days would it take to get it to 280kg and how much feed per cattle would you put out, other than the grass bale thats seperate? And is this feed as potent as the feed for the feeding phase feed?
Second question: in my area, i often get the opportunity to buy skinny C-grades but they weigh under 300kg's. Would you still background them untill 300kg, or just give them medicine till theyre healthy and eat feed and then take them straight to feeding?
Third question: My feed doesnt cost me so expensive, so would you recommend i start feeding at around 250kg, or still wait till 300kg?
