Ive got 3 juniors. a harley benton, a burny from de 80's and i just sold a greco from 77, before all that i just sold also a 1958 les paul junior dc that i bought back in 2002 and sincerly i didnt feel much diference from the one made in japan. Even the harley benton is really good.
EDWARDS GREAT GUITARS, AND IF MY MEMORY IS CORRECT THE GUY THAT STARTED EDWARDS-ESP/LTD USED TO WORK AT GIBSON AS A MASTER BUILDER (SORRY ABOUT CAPS KEYBOARD STUCK AGAIN)
First String a washer, lock washer, and washer then thread your wrap around Bridge. That should help with the string problem. ZIMM'S guitars thank you for a very good video!
Gibson DID sue ESP some years back and they won. It was primarily over the Eclipse and EX designs being too similar to the Les Paul and Explorer. So ESP redesigned both which is why the Eclipse has a different lower horn, the flag headstock and inlays and only three control knobs. That was in the US. Jackson also sued ESP over their pointy headstocks so they redesigned those as well. I'm a bit of a fan of ESP.
WHEN PUTTING LUBE ON THE NUT STRING 1ST THEN TUNE THEN LIFT STRING UP AND OVER TO THE SIDE THEN LUBE SLOT. IF YOU LUBE 1ST THEN STRING AND TUNE THE STRING WILL DRAW THE LUBE OUT OF THE NUT TOWARDS THE HEAD STOCK. ESPECIALLY ON FLOATING TREMS IT WILL HAVE NO BENEFIT.
Wouldn't buy a Junior be it Gibson / Chibson. But I enjoyed this video a lot. It's nice to see how much you care for others guitar and are very gentle to not get scuffs and nicks in the finish.
That Edwards is a good guitar but 11s are not a good mix. The Guitar is just like a 58 JR and sports a 1 1/4 inch tenon with the neck connecting at the base of the neck. This caused weakness and instability in the neck joint on 1959 Jrs. 10s would be better. P.S. the strings are on the tuners with a "Gibson Wrap". and also Gibson does not have a Trademark on the double cut Jr. Gibson lost their appeal to the lawsuit against Framus/Warwick.
David YOU ARE RIGHT ESPECIALLY IF YOUR GOING FOR RELIC LOOK -- WOULD BE A GOOD FOUNDATION TO START WITH -- A FEW DINGS & SCRATCHES CAN'T GO WRONG AT THAT PRICE POINT. WAS SURPRISED S/D PUP UNDER THE HOOD.
It's probably not even that they are angry or that they want to slow dean or anyone else down. If you fail to protect your trademarks if the face of widespread infringement it can have implications on your trademark rights.
I have two Edwards here beside me and they are Killer guitars. For the value for money you cant go past them. Gibson cant compete with these.

Get Locking Tailpiece Mounting Studs Posts. The bridge doesn't move if you have to change a string.

High Quality indeed. I would love to have that guitar.
Edwards are amazing guitars. Have had a white custom for about 8 years, and it does everything I want a Les Paul to do.

That's a very nice looking guitar.

does this have a neck dive?
Japanese have always built fine Gibson replicas. My Japanese Les Paul copy from the late 70s is exact replica. I'm still however a big Gibson fan.
Edwards are fuckin' awesome!
Love it! 👍👍😎

THE FINISH ON THAT GUITAR LOOKS LIKE IT'S BEEN PAINTED WITH A PAINT BRUSH AND A ROLLER.
Agreed..but I kinda like the vintage look

They're called Lacquer Taste. Top coat is nitro. No grain filler.
