- Fished the mangrove swamps along the Konkan coast and we caught an assortment of species. Maybe next time, we need to fish an assortment of lures and different techniques, but that coming :)
Rod: 6'6" Shimano teramar south east inshore rod
Reel: Shimano SLX 151HG
Lures used: Zoom forktail soft plastics, DUO realis pencil 85, Rapala firetiger plug

I'm hoping for that top water barramundi as well
100mm and 110mm topwater pencils are good. I've had good luck on the zstick and 110 realis pencil SW. The boofs are insane. Just be sure to have to GoPro rolling when it does happen 😉

I'm sure you can. You just need bigger baitcasters while targeting big fish and casting a bigger baitcasting reel might need some practice.

Then you'll have a try different kind of lures and I don't know what to three, but something different than what didn't work. Also, try early morning and you might have a better chance. And you can also try other spots where lures might work better
