Kyle Reyes, the Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Utah Valley University, joins Garrett Clark for this episode of the Silicon Slopes Show. They talk about the mission behind UVU and how the school was started, as well as Kyle's role at the school in supporting students. Kyle talks about his book which engages in diverse perspectives and explores cultural experiences, with the aim of fixing the divide between humans. They discuss developing empathy as a skill, and using it as a tool to connect with people on a deeper level, and how it becomes second nature the more you work on it.
