- This is Episode 1 of the Overlord Deku chat story series. A young boy dreams of manifesting an amazing quirk in his quest to become the greatest hero. Unfortunately, Midoriya may have to learn the meaning of "be careful of what you wish for" the hard way.
It's an IzuMomo ship, which I think is extremely underrated. If you like it, don't forget to leave a like and to subscribe to the channel! Any suggestions on how to improve are also very much welcome in the comments section.

at this stage, I don't know how much I can say exactly without potentially leaking a spoiler. i guess all i can say right now is that you might find what you're looking for in the next two episodes

Whelp... I may be a bit late... but holy, Death Arms... The way he acts there I could assume he is the one actually beating the Todoroki household. Quite literally refused to hear the situation out and about to beat a kid to who knows what... That is good writing.
If he did i little of investigation we would found out that the woman his is mom and she died by sliccing her throat something that he wouldn't found in the scene of the crime

well, sun Jin-woo (can't tag the guy for some reason) pretty much hit the nail on the head. i mean, he did see Midoriya murder the Sludge Villain right in front of him, so it's easy to jump to conclusions.

@@epictextingstories4372 I've said before and I'll say it again. I'm in it for the long haul.
And he is right, just very apparent they died in 2 different ways. 1 stabbed and the other in the same method he saw someone die before by Izuku. Never said he wasn't going to get arrested, my standpoint was that when Death Arms came, he didn't need to look like he was going to beat the kid worse then how he felt.
However, at the end of the day, this is has been great and I do wish to see how you do this story. My statements have never been about trying to change a story or how something was written. Just something for people to reflect upon and go, "Yeah, I agree" or "No, and here is why". I love to see other people's perspectives and how people see my take on the story.
overlord is my fav anime i watched it over FIVE TIMES wich is why im going berserk over the fact that season four is coming later this year
totally understand. i love overlord too and currently trying to get my hands on LN 7-10 in english. hyped for season 4!

Oh I’m so excited for what comes next. How often are you able to upload currently? Just asking out of curiosity. And a question regarding the series as a whole. Are we getting more MHA characters with quirks that make them similar to overlord characters? Like Momo having a quirk to make her like Albedo for example.
Thanks man! Glad to know the first episode has you hyped up. As for more MHA characters with overlord-inspired characters, I'm not entirely sure yet. but there will be MHA characters who fulfill similar roles if that make sense.
As for my ability to upload episodes, my current workload at work is still heavy as the firm hasn't hired another copywriter yet. so it'll still be once a week for the foreseeable future.

Im guessing you aren't giving him Ainz's full kit. So are you mainly going to give him his undead/necromancer spells? Like his aura, negative energy burst, and undead summoning(duh)? In Overlord it's mentioned that he has over 700 spells so I think you have a bit of creative liberty.
To start, I definitely won't give him the full kit, so we won't be seeing Izuku summoning baby goats in the series. but yes, aura skills, summoning undead (won't follow the tier system though), and grasp heart which izuku already used, will all be fair game.
and yes, since ainz has hundreds of spells at his disposal, i'll probably sub a bunch of them with basic-ish spells and maybe a few original spells I come up with

will be upfront though. i don't see eri and overhaul coming into the fold in this series. might change, but so far, they aren't in the outline for the first 10 episodes.
The story is good but please try to put some music over the constant texting.

Hmm... All I can say right now is that I won't be giving him his full kit. So no baby goats in this series. Fallen Down and Goal of All Life might show up if I feel that it needs to go that direction.
The basics of his kit will be here though like despair aura, grasp heart, etc. And then will fill it in with kits from other iterations of liches from other sources like WoW or something. Ainz does know over 700 spells after all. Hope that helps. Cheers!

yeah missed detail on my part as I was writing. he was supposed to have several internal organs at that stage of the story. by the end of episode 1, all that's left is his literal heart.

In Overlord (the anime this is based off of) his species is actually called overlord Xd but it essentially means that he is a higher form of lich with op magic
Nice we got a warcraft fan here. but yes, as Jaylan said, his species is called Overlord. but there will be elements of Arthas in peppered in here as well. I mean, there must always be a lich king, right? 🥶️

its a valid point you have. but imo, the charm of overlord is ainz's descent into villainy the longer as his humanity slowly erodes. its probably why TS writers delve into the backstory so much
Why izumomo
Honestly, I was designing this series to be a different ship. But the longer I worked on it, the more it just made sense for the leading lady to be Momo. So even as a self-professed IzuMomo fan, her presence here is purely because it makes a lot of sense in terms of moving the plot forward

I did consider, but then I just felt that would be taking the entire concept of overlord and isekai-ed it into a second world if that makes sense? So ultimately just decided against it.
But yeah, certain roles (floor guardians) will be filled out by other mha characters instead
