@notoriousLSGshow It was because of his head/neck injury I'm sure it probably scared some people off at first and they thought that he wouldn't be the same ....so he fell off of a lot of radars but now he is back 100 percent healthy and is still every bit of a dawg as he was before

@@bluupuffs I can see Lake starting at the FS and with Curl at the SS, I'd put Kinchens as the back up FS but use him as the middle fielder and move Lake down on certain plays, and also use Russ Yeast as a nickel peice. It's getting scary what we're building lol

Supposedly this guy has first round talent but had a bad combine workout. What's the real story?
Bad combine times. Average Lateral movement skills. He had a neck injury/concussion his junior year and when he came back he was a little tentative. He can get be manipulated by QBs eyes at times because he’s a gambler. He doesn’t always take great angles in run defense.
That said he’s a true junior that came out so he’s young. He’s also mentored by Ed Reed. Kam should be a good nfl safety with pro bowl potential because he’s a true ball hawk.

@@James58Ramson the field he has great lateral movement. You're just saying that because of his poor combine. Scouts made that same mistake with Ed Reed when he ran the exact same time is kinchen 4.57 instead of looking at his instincts

Average doesn’t mean bad. It’s just not gonna cover up a bad combine (likely why he dropped and also the question I was answering). The 40 time was weird to me, he plays like a 4.5 flat guy.

He should have been the top safety in the draft. More INT than any DB in the last 2 years, bad combine stats hurt him. People don't evaluate with their eyes anymore.
He ran a 4.57 the exact same time as Ed reed
