When I first got licensed I researched 2m antennas. Came across Michael’s custom build J Pole and it is hands down the best 2m antenna I’ve ever used. I plan to buy several and keep them on hand. This guy really LOVES ham radio. You can tell from his products quality and how he handles just conversing with other hams.
I don’t throw wires into trees anymore. I attach the antenna to the end of a 17’ telescoping fishing pole and just lean it against a tree. Easier for me, and better for the trees. 😊
Pin Point is not necessarily right...That's right. Shenandoah National Park is miles long, and the pin point is actually in Front Royal, which is slightly North of the northernmost point of the Park.
This is good stuff. Way to go! ARRL and KB9VBR.
😎
Thank you for recording and publishing the video. I hope this inspires more to go out, enjoy our parks, and get on the air.
Great presentation Michael. I‘m sorry I missed seeing you at Hamvention. I really enjoy your videos.
Great presentation, Michael! You are THE Pota ambassador. K1DLA
Great video Michael
Michael is a great person to do this presentation, in that he is a great activator! Thanks, AARL! Thanks Michael! KQ4IXD
Thanks Michael!

We were glad to have him present the forum!
I have his j-pole as well. It's incredible.

I've climbed up to parnel tower in WI and activated with an HT. It is doable
👍

It would be really swell if our QSO's could, like, be logged, and stuff...
