I'd argue that the Ferrari 250 and P3 have similarly amazing sounds. And let's not forget Shelby's famous 427ci "Side Oiler" V8 from the Cobra and GT40 Mk.II. Probably the only American V8 better than a Chrysler 426ci HEMI.

@@legobricks0889 it doesn’t actually handle well 😢. The suspension is angled to the left a tad bit to make turning in nascar easy. Even then weight and the fact that Dodge always favored straight line cars over track cars makes one hell of a problem for it.
Because it easily can from stop or a 40 mph roll. Those were released to qualify for NASCAR and shortly after banned. Won a lot. 200 mph laps with king Petty's 43

I think a 440 was the stock engine for a Winnebago Chieftan from that era. 426 had better horsepower, but the 440 had better low-end torque and was a more capable engine for everyday. The 426 was a de-tuned race engine that was finicky in traffic.

That may be slightly the case, but the Hellcat pales in comparison to the abnormal style of the Daytona. When I get in a car, I dont want it to sound like an over worked dishwasher. I want it to sound like its going to rattle your bones. It takes a real man... or girl... to be able to handle the Daytona. For all I care, the engines of the past 30 years sound like fucking pussies.

What a machine! I got to see this car in person once, it is probably one of the most badass Mopar's I've ever seen and heard! The people behind this beauty put a lot of effort into her and i couldn't have been more blown away, superb job!

572 didn't exist when these were built. Most of the Charger Daytonas came with a 440 Magnum. Some of them came with a 426 HEMI.
