i will be very happy if team USA fails tonight. i'll be sad if they fail in the olympics but it would be a rude slap in the face for W management to finally wake up! their treatment of cc is appalling and they sure need the icewaterbucket.

They have real competition this coming Olympics and they narrowly won against Belgium last year for the qualifiers. This USA lineup looks beatable by much younger European teams.
If team USA somehow pulls out the win then fair play to them and they chose the right team. But I just don’t see it happening and shame on the Olympic committee for choosing many players based on seniority rather than ability.

An All Star game isn’t indicative of Olympic play, it’s a glorified 3 point/Iso/Dunk contest with fancy whistles

I don't think the USA team is going to go all out. For one they are not completely healthy. For another they are going to prep for different lineups. If CC runs Collier, Griner, Stewart, Taurasi and Gray may need to hit the bench. Due to previous injuries or cannot run. Seems to be some athletes who can run with CC. Could see CC just break down USA. If France and Belgium can run they can compete. World will be watching.
I wouldn't be surprised if the All-stars set up mid court traps and even full court traps just to pressure Team USA and their ball handlers. 😂❤

I would be more interested to see Caitlin play with Chennedy Carter than Reese. AR is dirt slow running the court and can’t shoot for shite. They need sprinters on the floor tonight to run the old USA players to the bench for oxygen.
With how quick Carter is, her cutting when the defense collapses on Caitlin could be a big problem for team USA.

The USA team looks beatable by upcoming European teams that probably had been playing together more than them and they look hungry. Belgium almost beat USA team who only won by half a second. I don't know the betting odds but if I'm a betting man, I will put money against them.
The team wnba coach Cheryl Miller already said that team WNBA wants to knock the socks off of team USA. Team WNBA has something to prove bc they weren’t selected for team USA. They’re not gonna go down without a fight.

I agree that the USA team is all old and injured. I read that Angel Reece is going to the Paris Olympics to watch the USA team play. I'm not normally a conspiracy person, but what would happen if one of those injured players can't play. One solution could be to quickly add Reece to the team since she is already there. Any chance that Cheryl Reeve ask her to come so that she has a good excuse for not asking Caitlin?

The way Copper played against the Fever after Griner was injured was insane. Even with the Fever’s trash defense as a major caveat, she put that team on her back and made it a game when it shouldn’t have been one

As you can imagine the mental health is the biggest factor for a 22 Year old that had the weight of all the attention that she has. She can’t do anything and had to be so careful because she is constantly under a microscope. And there is no rule that get her out of her interviews. Well there is a rule which was created for an attention seeking player who plays a victim.
