i love Gouenji with all my heart, but bro does not need more additional time to shine 💀 bro is the 2nd protagonist in the 1st and 2nd season AND the whole of Orion glazes him like he is god (which tbh, he is) by having multiple people copy his own technique in different versions (Last Resort)
It's the show wanted to tell you he's the best character, despite he only have like 1~2 dramas around him, and pretty much all other strikers surpassed him at ease

His True Bakunetsu Screw can't get thru Rococo's God Hand X, but Hiroto's Sky Drop does. Or heck, even his Last Resort was blocked way later in Orion season. I don't hate him at all, I like his character development during the first 3 seasons, but god, at least get it right, man.
But in manga Gouenji did score alone . He completely destroyed Rocco using maximum fire in the final match. People who had read manga known that gouenji is best forward in series .I don't know why they didn't include maximum fire in anime. May be they want to use for movie
He's the face of the franchise alongside Endou, and one of the most influential players in-universe. It's no wonder he will get more hype surrounding him then other characters. Also, when was he ever called the "best" player?

Inazuma originally from NDS game (just like Pokemon originally from NGB game) and the anime following the game story, or at least around 80% of them, the thing is in the game he is indeed one of the best character (striker) available through all 3 IE games. About the Shin Bakunetsu Screw couldn't get thru God Hand X is a total bullshit, yes Hiroto's Tenkuu Otoshi easily get thru it because in game it has higher base power than Bakunetsu Screw BUT Shin Bakunetsu Screw has a lot more base power than Tenkuu Otoshi, so this is definitely the anime fault.
