there's this big ethnics conflict in Indonesia that basically turn from physical battle into straight mystical war. there is a famous story of soldiers hiding people from a certain ethnic group involved in the war in the back of a truck and covering these people with tarpaulins and also their bags for evacuation, they were stopped by several groups of people to be checked but were left alone when they saw the army uniforms. a few meters later after the truck was moving, blood dripped from under the tarpaulin and when it was opened, the people the soldiers were hiding were already in a beheaded condition.

This intire conversation Mouse: WHAT! ME: WHAT! As a navajo (a south west native american.) ive experience some crazy rituals before, but nothing like this.😂
Yep, iam Indonesian and the magic ritual is ridiculously insane. simple "magic"stuff like rain shaman usually sacrifice an animal usually chicken or cow if you're rich enough and of course there are magic that required human sacrifice usually either for money or killing or cursing other people (wich unfortunately I witness something that are just crazy with 0 explanation, it was my aunt she suddenly fainted and than vomit nail wich is odd not to mention I sae the nail floating/levitating in the middle of her mouth wich traumatised me, she survived though and I to this day just can't understand how that was possible).
This is really common in Indonesia and Malaysia. Less so in Malaysia because we got a heavy islamic presence which sort of stamped it out. But it's still around underground. But it's definitely more intense in Indonesia. In fact in my family we have the guardian spirit thing too. It's a spirit tiger. It sometimes appeares with an elder of the family from a hundred years ago who wears a white robe. They usually appear to bring omens or warnings.
The UK water companies still pay dowsers, so... For reference, they live on a smalli-ish island. You can pretty much dig anywhere and not even too deep and find water.
that nail and hair thing actually legit thing, if you go to shaman to ask him to hurt someone they gonna ask for something related to that person. it can be a hair, nail, a spit, or the least is a picture. the shaman also usually ask for the target name and target parent name like "this guy child of this guy". it's freaky

There’s a lore about the Dayak people who live deep inside the forests of Borneo. Their leader, known as pangkalima or panglima burung (directly translated to English as "Bird Army General"), is said to possess the ability to make a machete fly by itself to find its target, like a homing decapitator. Is this central european mysticism? Intriguing!
Mousey's face is all of us hearing his story.
Now with this information it makes alot of sense why was reborn

I get people that dont believe in black magic but being in mexico you see some wild shit in america i havent seen anything weird but i hear other countries that have that stuff you see and hear crazy things
I felt that magic also require people's degree of believing them to make them "work"
This is why you never see someone use black magic toward American politicians.
OR
American govt actually have black magic deterrent group we don't know of. Just blocking or throwing back black magic attack toward the president.
there's this big ethnics conflict in Indonesia that basically turn from physical battle into straight mystical war. there is a famous story of soldiers hiding people from a certain ethnic group involved in the war in the back of a truck and covering these people with tarpaulins and also their bags for evacuation, they were stopped by several groups of people to be checked but were left alone when they saw the army uniforms. a few meters later after the truck was moving, blood dripped from under the tarpaulin and when it was opened, the people the soldiers were hiding were already in a beheaded condition.
@@cincau3243 Even as an Indonesian who heard mystical stories, this one sounds pretty BS.
@@kos2919 there's a certain conflict from 1998-2001, just dig deeper
This is very interesting.i went through this kinda practice with my grandfather but I'm Native American
Shee prolly dodged a bullet by not redebuting with her IRL lore. It really might just make it real, and she already has an audience to power her hahaha
Sacrificing chat for eternal youth
Wth how is Michi a Shaman apprentice to Vtuber.

As a navajo (a south west native american.) ive experience some crazy rituals before, but nothing like this.😂
Because you guys got your shamanism practice eradicated from years of cultural dissensitization (sp?).
They usually appear to bring omens or warnings.
the mangkukulam arc is REAL
The rituals sound pretty similar to some in peru
12:17, did i hear kafan? Because if i did, that means she wrap her cut hair with unused shroud just to dispose it. Man, that's radical!
Somehow i suspected michi has witch vibes before this.
The UK water companies still pay dowsers, so...
For reference, they live on a smalli-ish island. You can pretty much dig anywhere and not even too deep and find water.
Dandadan was actually based on her life, little known fact.
that nail and hair thing actually legit thing, if you go to shaman to ask him to hurt someone they gonna ask for something related to that person. it can be a hair, nail, a spit, or the least is a picture. the shaman also usually ask for the target name and target parent name like "this guy child of this guy". it's freaky
See this is why michi will always be oshi status who casually drops this type of story
Answer she does / btw any suggestions for yap streamers who tell cool stories like her,her Indonesian background really does help
I understand eng/and some Spanish
More like a witch doctor than a shaman.
Crazy fun story when Indonesia held the Moto GP at the Mandalika circuit there was heavy rain and the race postponed for 1 hour, so organizer invited a rain shaman and miraculousy (or coincidentaly) the rain stopped and the race restarted...funny thing is 2 days later Hololive announce new ID Vtuber..and you guessed it, it's Kobo Kanaeru a rain Shaman lol
holy shitttttyttt I was so right about it..there can't just be a coincidence LMAOOO, thanks for reminding me of this again.

@kos2919 nope!! Its something entirely different! Its more akin to those chinese fortune teller i think. But In places where the “pecinan” culture is thick, there’s certain degree of cultural assimilation between chinese and local culture! This also happens in “ilmu” as well because ones i know are very familiar with kejawen as well as the chinese beliefs and practices both!
....wait, she had a ritual put on her when she was young... and she had a doll that creeps out of her family, but doesn't negatively affect her...
Guys, the ritual worked, but not how people thought it would.
Yeah, she's having to deal with alot. Supernatural or real, still dealing it!

Michi’s grandfather sounds like a Metal Gear character. Fought in war? Used magic to kill people? Straight up a COBRA unit member.
Heck, SHE sounds like a Metal Gear character. One who ends up in fights with soldiers that steep themselves in mysticism. Only partially initiated into that world, constantly tempted by them to join them and “fullfill her potential.”
the curse will continue for 7 generation after you, is the curse originally from the legend of Ken Arok
Curses going 7 generation is a common thing in Indonesia. It's pretty much how you hate someone so deeply you want that someone to suffer inculding their children and children's children.
no wonder her previous life was a ghost with a nail stuck in it's head xD
This explains a lot
Update: Michi got her ancestors on her back now. Dont mess with her guys, she is the grandchild of the Shaman
If Michi ever needs to find someone i offer myself as tribute!
thats a crazy opening to say that ur grandpa is shaman lmao
Is this why she was almost kidnapped three times
Yeah, even fellow Indonesians felt it's a bit.... excessive.
@kos2919 one happened in Japan too, so a curse following her would make sense
There’s a lore about the Dayak people who live deep inside the forests of Borneo. Their leader, known as pangkalima or panglima burung (directly translated to English as "Bird Army General"), is said to possess the ability to make a machete fly by itself to find its target, like a homing decapitator.
They became well-known during the ethnic conflict that occurred in City of Sambas, West Borneo in 1999.
I heard this story from refugees who flocked into my province, South Borneo during that dark period.
Anyone know which war(s) her grandfather fought in? There’s been about 3 Indonesian wars in the past century.
Probably WW2 i suspect.
@@ltcinsanemore likely it was during the colonial era. either the war against the Dutch/Japanese. because Indonesia did not participate in WW. It's a common thing, almost all grandchild must have a story about their grandparents who used to go to war. but this is just a story that is usually brought by children born in the 90s.
Either during colonization and World War II era or civil war during cold war era under CIA influence, but mostly the World War II since my late grandma also had a lot of story about her experience lived under Dutch and Japanese colonization.
Indonesian culture so fucking wild, man.
Its a good thing her parents dont let her involve with that anymore. those stuff will stick with you until you die and its even worse when you have a familiar with you

Make me wonder though, I know USA is mostly using science and logic, but I wonder if the feds have a secret group to deal with magic threats.
So she is the descendant of black and a white magic practitioners, thats Bayoneta lore shit there XD
She'll fit in with the Eastern European, especially in the Balkan region.
Or maybe the Latam area, they love this topic, what a good investment.
I have a sort of precognition when i was a little kid, the most memorable one is when i see something bad and cry about it (once). It happend less and less as i got older and the last memorable vision i got is just my teacher coming to the classroom tho nothing special never had any eversince.
The vision does happened but i have 0 context for the vision so it's really hard to understand what im seeing at the time (especially since i was a kid) i usually only understood the context moments before it happened out of all of them there only like one or two i understand and reacted to. The rest is just a moments or place i never been to until i got there.
The most interesting thing about my family is that I have relatives who farm reindeer up north. I think someone once won a lassoo competition at a young age?
Such things are pretty common in lesser developed areas across the globe
Especially in the country/outback
Especially within the older generations
Superstition is excused in the absence of evidence and we naturally want answers to all our problems
I won't take your words into account. Black magic is found everywhere around this globe and does NOT define only the poor parts of this world. The belief of planet Earth having a spiritual power within itself that destines and affects the population has been an INTEGRAL part to the history of the entire human race, it is something that should be thought of, regardless if you want to believe in such or not. So, sorry to break it to you but your statement is quite ambiguously false in here buddy.
I find it funny what when Michi was born her grandad was just "...this will do."
What if Betty (the haunted mannequin) and the protective sprite are the same thing.
Protective spirit showed up the say Michi entered Vshojo and Betty keep it's promise of making Michi rich.

Coming from anyone else this would be the grandfather of all trolls. Coming from Michi this is a Tuesday.
Now i am imaging her spirit guardian walking forward to save michi from a cringy incident and goes "hold up, this gonna be so funny"
Michi has straight up dad lore
That picture of Michi in the thumbnail is really cute.
