Solid gallops. I can see it takes a lot out of you. You're dropping just a few notes here and there, but you're diligent and never miss the timing. Really great job! Keep going!
thanks for listening! yes the gallops were indeed a challenge but it was a fun one to tackle. Loved the wild wild west vibes that come with it so I HAD to make a horse video to go with it!
very good and passionate

Thank you friend!! I am glad my love for music and arts are well received through my work 😻
Really good work on the tapping, great cover
I appreciate it a lot!! My first tapping experience and it was very fun to learn 🤩
Excellent work! I love the tone on the gallop and the tapping is spot on. I'm trying this one myself so wish me luck :)
Thank you for your kind words. I know you will have a ton of fun practicing- I felt like the coolest gal in the wild west playing this one^_^ good luck!!
That was an awesome performance of a classic tune! Nicely done! You are very phenomenal musician ❤🤟😁✌️❤️
wow thank you and thanks for dropping by. KOC is surely one of Muse's masterpieces. Timeless, fun to play/listen. If you want to check out my Reaper cover it's at this link - sadly UA-cam copyrighted Reaper after couple months I published the video. I wish my bass tone was less muffled for this one but settled for the 'drone' feel 😁 rumble.com/v2hzodi-reapers-bass-cover.html
Nice cover :) i´m struggling myself with keeping the gallops consistent in this song, but you made it look easy 🤘🔥
thanks! Lots of discipline at work, as you are surely already aware 😉 this song was a very fun challenge. Good luck and have fun! Don't forget the tapping part!
Sounds fantastic well played 🔥 👏
Thank you very much! I share the sentiment of your nickname by the way. Just need to pull the trigger and keep it going one day at a time 😊
@@selenicereus you're never my age, I so wish I'd of started 30 years earlier 😂 I watch some of the younger ones and feel like throwing my guitar in the bin 😂 tbh as much as i love playing, i still treat it like a hobby.
@@guitar_begins_at_40 considering life expentancy being about 80-100 years, 'better late than never' most certainly makes sense 😊
Is there a good tabs for the tapping part anywhere?
I have played this song daily as a warm up 'cause I use 3 finger style instead of pick but never seen the tapping for it on tabs of any sort.
Hi Joni! I will link the tapping tabs in the description, hope you find it helpful. My fingering technique is a little different from the bassist in the video, I modified it a little bit to suit my play style. The video will give you a good place to start with your tapping practice. Good luck! :)
@@selenicereus Thank you a lot! :)
I was actually just playing the song again when the notification of the comment popped up, so the timing is quite perfect haha
Very nice 😄 this was my first tapping cover and I had a lot of fun. Is the three finger technique ring-middle-index strumming?
@@selenicereus Yes, sometimes I use four with pinky included if I have to go faster, but usually I use three.
It's a great technique for gallops and fast picking but takes some practice to get the same rhythm as with two (or pick, yuck). Since I mainly play black- and deathmetal, I've practiced a three finger technique where you basically use both sides of you fingers doubling the speed in a rotation.
Btw, that tapping part is actually super fun!
I've never tapped on bass, but since I bought a fretless like month ago, I had to try that part and I'm so glad your video popped on my feed randomly! It seems to be fairly easy in the end to the point where even I can just watch youtube videos and tap it at the same time 😅
The decision of putting a video of a troop of horses running in the background is most underrated thing of this cover
Haha indeed, I wanted to accentuate and visualize the the galloping effect of the song so had to make a horse video for this cover! Makes me very happy that someone noticed. Thanks for dropping by and happy new year 😇😇😇
@@selenicereus Well done 😆 happy new year to you from Canada!
