Just say you were drawing 25LPA fixed - inflated numbers include 30-40 percent variable on top- which you can comfortable get. Needless to say, an ambitious engineer would be earning way more than an ambitious consultant.

Usually for tier 3 college bba students it is hard to get consulting job in Mckinsey, bain and bcg type companies but you have to have the neccessary skills along with good cgpa to get selected and have to work 2* harder than other iits/iim/and ca students
