      Curious - are you still satisfied with the 17L or would the 21L have been better?

    • @akbc3247
      @akbc3247 2 роки тому +2

      @@robbiep742 yup, definitely still love it and its a perfect size for me. I daily carry an ipad pro with keyboard, a couple of notebooks + books, a sweater and sometimes a small camera, with a good amount of space still left (once I did managed to fit what I needed for a weekend away even tho pretty full). However I have a small frame, so I can see the 21L being a better option for taller people or just ppl who want carry more things

    Really love your work, Ed. These are very well appointed bags. Love how they look and the functionality. I have been a Tumi customer for a while. However, I would never have become one if I relied on youtube as their bags rarely get in-depth reviews by people who review bags like yourself. Could you let me, and I am sure others, know why you don't review Tumi bags and cases? I know they are a successful brand and somewhat expensive, but I am sure that would feature in your review. Some are even more expensive but get reviewed. Maybe there is something I am missing. I really don't understand it. I would appreciate your thoughts on this, and a review of some of their bags would be great also. #JustSaying. Please let me know. Thanks.

      Hi Iyare, yeah good point. Tumi hasn't really been on our radar but we can certainly look into it and see if it aligns with the values and quality that we're on about here at Rushfaster! Thanks for the suggestion! - Ed

    I have the Brevite Jumper Photo and really like it but would like an easier way to take out camera gear when it's not needed, which is why this modular insert design looks interesting to me. Are there any other alternatives that you've tested that you'd recommend? The only other one I've come across is the Urth Arkose but I'm not sure about its camera access design from the front... Interested to hear your thoughts!

    Hi, really appreciate your reviews. Based on your reviews, I plan to get either the Bellroy Transit Workpack or this Moment MTW 21. They appear to be very similar. Which would you recommend and why? Thank you.

    • @Aadu_Thomaa
      @Aadu_Thomaa 3 роки тому +1

      I was also contemplating to get a Bellroy transit workplace. However the Moment MTW seems to be superior in terms of features and functionality.

      Glad you like the videos man! Like and sub!
      As for the bags, dang that's a tough pick. Both are excellent bags. I think the MTW has more organisation and pocketing, but the Transit Workpack is a bit more aesthetically interesting for me. Some people dont like the zippered waterbottle pocket on the Transit Workpack and would prefer a traditional external pocket (that might help you decide). And, I think the MTW is cheaper too. Based on that, I think the MTW probably just edges over the Bellroy Transit. Hope that helps! - Ed

    the everyday tote organisation reminds me of bellroy's tokyo tote ! do you happen to have a tote comparison video / a playlist of videos that inclue tote reviews ? currently searching for a new work tote :)

    • @Christopher-today
      @Christopher-today 3 роки тому +1

      I thought I’d comment, hopefully it’s helpful. As far as totes go it’s very hard to beat Bellroy and the new Tokyo Tote is no exception. The Bellroy material feels better than any of the others I’ve had the opportunity to touch. I like that Bellroy basically invented this segment with their Totepack style bags. I do find a lot of Bellroy stuff to expensive but the new pure tote is surprisingly affordable ($95CDN via Canadian Amazon). Also given their longer history building tote style bags for work/edc they’ve optimized the insides as much as possible. My only caution is really make sure the laptop pocket dimensions are a fit for your laptop. Bellroy seems to use apple products for reference sizing and they are often smaller (but certainly not always) than many equivalent windows/linux laptops. Also any question I’ve ever asked their support team about sizing, etc has been answered quickly and thoroughly which gives them bonus marks in my books. Hope this helps a bit.

      @@Christopher-today appreciate the input! i am considering the tokyo tote as an option and have tried it in person!! totally agree with you, i love the internal organisation. personally, i'm just trying to see if there is anything sleeker design-wise and/or more of the upright/portrait style of tote 😊

    • @Christopher-today
      @Christopher-today 3 роки тому +1

      @@naomie7828 hmm, you might look to their Totepack line then. They’re a hybrid but the backpack straps hide away if you want to go full tote all the time. With the backpack functionality you get a squarer bottom compared to the pure totes wedge bottom. The also have a number of different Totepack lines with various features and pricing but their all similar in many ways. I’d ask the Bellroy team which of them is more likely to stand up. The ones I’ve thought of buying look like they MAY stand up but I’m not sure. I went with a briefcase model instead ,sadly they’re not making them anymore. My only issue with Bellroy Totepacks is the pricing. The Tokyo Totepack line comes in various versions running from I think $150CDN up to $350CDN. There’s a ton of options from different manufacturers who have jumped on the tote bandwagon so there might be a better option from a functionality point of view. Since haven’t looked at any of those closely I wouldn’t want to comment on them so im with you in loving the idea of a tote showdown on Rushfaster. Cheers. :)

      @@naomie7828 Hello again Naomie, I was on amazon searching for a couple of things and I randomly came across the following totepack, the "Kah&Kee Laptop Backpack Tote Bag". It looked pretty nice to me and it has an actual flat bottom so you can set it down without it flopping over. As a nice bonus it's super inexpensive at just under $60 Canadian. I've never heard of this company so I can't personally comment on the bag's quality but it at least looks like it's made well in the pictures. Also there are 135 reviews with an average score of 4.6 out of 5. Now some/many of those could be fake like so many Amazon reviews are but I did a quick read of a bunch of them and they at least appear legit. Given all that I thought it might be of interest to you hence the out of the blue comment after a couple of weeks.
      Note: I saw it on Amazon.ca just in case it doesn't show up on whichever Amazon site is local to you.
      Cheers, Christopher

    Big swing and a miss by Moment with that quick access pocket. It should be facing the other way so right handed people can sling it around their right side to access it like Able Carry bags do. Ugh so annoying.
