RIP Marshall,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Thanks for ALL your contributions, Your reviews were enlightening and your enthusiasm was unparalleled.
And mine is still running strong after major beatings and one major tumble down a rock face to a 4m vert drop on to rocks and then bouncing into a rock pool, awesome light
Hey Marshall , we really missed your reviews... keep up the good work.
I got the just released M3XS-UT.It is awesome and long as hell but you were right the beam pattern is very similar to the M2X just a little brighter.
Rip Marshall , thanks for the reviews i just bought an M2X Javelot xoxoxooxoxoxoxoooxox Peace
Good job and awesome review Marshall😊 I love my M2x-UT but I just don't the neutral white tint, I wish it came in cool white. I did some distance comparison against my M25C2 Turbo and I was surprised that my M25C2 Turbo out throw the M2X-UT..maybe because of larger reflector head and cool white tint which I could see things further much brighter. I can't wait until you do the review on the M25C2 Turbo.
I assume you can run 2*16340's because this light will run 2*18650's
with the extension tube, for a total of 7.4volts? Unless you only
recommend 18650's that are 3.6volts. Mine are 3.7volts.
2*16340(3.7v each)~7.4v
2*18650(3.7v each)~7.4v
Although not keen on this type of flashlight, you cant help but be amazed at the distances these can reach. But it's worth remembering that at 800m, you only get 0.25 lux which is completely useless.
+terratec1001 yeah but you could say that about all lights, I find the practical distance for telling shades of green and brown apart at night is about half the ANSI rating..........800 meter is the maximum for seeing big bright white stuff stood up vertically against a black background, with no spill shining on stuff closer messing youre eyes up (i assume)
selimate"800 meter is the maximum for seeing big bright white stuff stood up vertically against a black background"
I'm not sure you'd even see that from 800 metres away - that's half a mile!
There's a guy who tests flashlights on YT (unsure which channel). He says the usable light from a flash light is around one-third that of the maximum a manufacture quotes. In this instance that would be around 266m~267m.
Marshall, with the distances you have to play with on your outside tests, would it be possible you could set up a some various flash lights (with different throw distances) then wander down to your targets with your camera to show what light is actually visible down range?
Awesome spot light.Nothing comes close to it in this size. But Now I am looking at the new m2xs-ut...1000 meter beam distance at 1200 lm.
(Marshall. .get a better watch)!
*****
Don't get rid of it.Use it for yard work or fishing..another would look better and cooler infront of the camera(and at the next Shot show )...although I am a watchoholic as well as flashoholic so... just an advise.
I was trying to find info on the olight m2r warrior and if that specific light fits in the surefire v70 holster. Hopefully you can help me out. Love watching your videos. Thanks.
It throws for a very long distance...However, it doesn't have Side switch...that's too bad.
Loosening ant tightening the head is not very practical...We want to do that with just one hand.
Yey keep the videos up. I got this light and its great!, just wish it was cool white
Got mine yesteday and last night it went on low strobe and dident work on high mode anymore. Any sugesstion?
When u going to review the Olight m3xs-javelot?
Can the Olight M2X body use with the Olight M3XS-UT?
PLs compare it to klarus XT12GT, P30, mh20GT, TM03
Is this flashlight 🔦 more powerful than the Olight SR52 intimidator !?? 😨🤦🏻♂️
whats the charge time?
끝내준다!
super thrower!
Serious thrower, only nitecore's Tm36 is better thrower.
And the sbt70 beam is much better IMO, I just dislike the neutral white.
I personally like the neutral white tint for photography and video purposes. Also that tint is very useful in foggy environment(during monsoons in western ghats its foggy with visibility barely around 3-5ft). Other than that sbt70 is just insane .
Sumeet Lal I have the nitecore tm36 and olight m20sx javelot, the neutral tint of my m20sx doesn't bother me...used to prefer cool white but my m20sx kinda changed my view on cool white
ベストクレイジーライト 照射距離 810メートル
There is no way that beam on that flashlight goes up to 800 meters, its a lie!
