I tried the mojo edge coating and roller, but didn't do very well. Then I tried Angelus - which was much worse of a result. I thought I'd never try edge coating again. Well, I really wanted to make my daughter a certain handbag and it would need edge coating. I decided to try Giardini. Their base coat is thicker ( Maxmatt) and behaved so much differently. The base coat is definitely the key for getting that rounded look in the end. I happened to see someone use a flathead screwdriver to apply it to the edge and tried that. Wow - what a difference ! You use the tip of the flathead to "tap" the paint onto the edge and as you go, it sort of heaps up ? Its a little hard to describe for sure. I got a small bottle since a little goes a long way and figure I will just get one color at a time as needed.
! My edge coating leaves much to be desired, often it looked better before I tried my hand at edge-coating😉It makes it difficult to try different products due to the cost. So thank you for sharing!
Thank you Kassiah - awesome job!! Who says you're not a professional!! 😉😉 Went to the Mojo website and it's closed!! 😮 I signed up to get notified when its up again but a bit of a bummer (not your fault!!). I can definitely see where her little "handy helper" thingy would be a great tool......don't know if my hands are steady enough to hold it like you did during the painting.....but we'll see!! 👍
I love it that you’re not afraid to try new things!! You’re a strong woman.

It is a bummer that the website is closed! I really enjoyed using that tool as well! I'm sure you'll be able to do a great job with it!
