I've found that dryer sheets work the best, but it sure would be nice if the manufacturers could invent a way to prevent that. Maybe one day. 😁 Until that happens, I see it as a necessary evil. 😆Have a Happy New Year!
Thanks for commenting, I can’t wait to get started on the canvas. It was really hard to choose an image, your art is so colorful and that is what I gravitate towards. I’d rather have static and good drills than no static and crappy drills. Just had to throw away acrylic drills from a canvas because they weren’t uniform and looked awful. I’ll take staticy resin drills any day 😂
The fox is adorable. So many bright colors. Never tried the tic tac storage before.
These bigger ones are ok, but the lids don’t allow me to pour my drills back in nicely without taking the entire top off, making them loose.

I'm so happy to see another person love the large tic tac bottles, they're my absolute favourite, & I've tried near enough every storage going 😅 the tops cab be a bit loose, I put some washi tape around the edges (with lid off), & it wedges the tops in a lot more, & stops them just pulling out 😊 I'm currently working on Sunset Bay from DAC 🥰
I think I will have to add a little washi to them for my own peace of mind. Not in the mood to dump a full bottle of drills. Excited to try them out. If I like them then I can see them being a permanent addition to my storage hoard 😂
Oh, a suggestion. When your bag is full of static, blow hot air into the bag and trap it in there by holding the top closed. Then shake it. You might have to do it again, but it works great. Better than trying to work the dryer sheet into the bag only to bring your finger out covered with drills.
I do watch your videos quite a lot so thank you for all your helpful advice.

Thanks for that advice! I am working on knitting up a project now and the static frustrated me into setting it aside for a bit. I will try the hot air tomorrow when I finish.
I always forget about that, and the rubbing alcohol tip. It’s like I’m blindly hopeful that there will be no static at all so I’m not prepared for it when it comes 😂

I just got that storage and I absolutely love the large tic tac bottles. Also gonna go to harbor freight and pick up some storage from them.
Never have tried the Harbor Freight ones. I’ve looked online but our local stores never seem to have them in stock, and the store is in an area I don’t really like so I don’t feel comfortable going without knowing what I want is there.

I am working on my last spangler . No more dragon breath . Last canvas was square dsa . Popping drills drove me over the edge . Threw it in the trash yesterday . Drills were fine . Canvas looked stretched . At least I didn't pay that much for it .
That is so frustrating. Never had an issue with a stretched canvas, it’s always the drills for me 😂
Our mailboxes are totally unstealable as they are letter slots cut into our doors. Much safer well unless you get broken into that is 😜
There’s no way the mailman could do that here, way too many houses and people to deliver to 😂
I bought a storage case of Amazon with round pill containers. Not sure if I will like them or not yet, but they have screw on lids and are easy to take in and out of the case.
I have a bunch of those. I’ve seen these and like that they hold more drills than the bottles. But we will see if they stay together. 😂

I love those square containers. They are quite big, I was thinking about using them for spare drill storage. How many drills do they hold though?
Not sure about that. Looks like it could be more than the bottle storage.
I fear the kids coming off too so I put scotch tape over it where. I can still open it
A few have come off while using them. And my usual tray has a spout that doesn’t quite fit in the opening. So far not as magical of a storage system as I’d like. May have to try the tape
I hope you closed H’s lid down before you zipped it up as it had flipped open and those drills might scatter. x

Bad - pushed the button to early. I have been working on DAC Country Harvest since Nov 29, my bday. I picked a super large one for my first 5 square paint. I think I might have it done in 4 months or so...
That is a big one for sure! And for a first square project! At least you are getting your moneys worth 😂 it can be hard to see people finish a ton of kits while you are slowly finishing yours. I know for me I only have so many hours that I can craft in a day, and have to remind myself that it isn’t a race and I’m doing it becuase I enjoy it. Not to have another finished painting to add to the list.
That's cats for ya, they screw everything up. I was blamed from my first house mate cause the dining room chair was on the ground sideways.... yeh cats are horrible. Sorry to tell ya
They are such trouble makers, but then they curl up next to you and purr and you forget all about their evil deeds. 😂
