The main motivation for this was my bingo card that I've been slacking on hard this year and I wanted to see how many of the hunts I can finish before the year is over. I'd have one more hunt done but I failed it (lol) and am currently working on the reclaim.
I've been hunting in a ton of different games and probably will continue to until The Indigo Disk comes out. Trying to avoid the burn out I had at the start of the year and this is a great way to do it. I think I have like 4 different hunts going rn and it's surprisingly effective to stay motivated to hunt.
This is one of 5 shiny Pokémon I caught by surprise

I was able to find 3 of them shiny around the Dalizapa Passage in one go last week and i still couldn't believe it

These guys are soooo difficult to shiny hunt. I was just now looking for one in total shade and because their contrast resembles that of their shiny I was getting the normal ones as encounters.
All I want is to catch one of these big guys in a dream ball to breed and giveaway.
