Here is some detailed information for viewers looking for more:
Processor: As he said, it's the most important component, and you should go for Intel. One thing I would like to add is that Intel uses Quick Sync technology from its integrated GPU, which is why it's superior to AMD in this regard. No iGPU means no Quick Sync. CPUs with codes ending in "f" (e.g., 12400f) don't have integrated graphics and therefore no Quick Sync technologies. Don't buy anything older than Intel's 12th gen for your editing rig. If I were to buy a new PC and couldn't afford the 12600k, I would definitely lean toward team red (i.e., AMD).
GPU: He is on the mark here too. For Adobe, the GPU won't help that much other than rendering, of course. But if you're using DaVinci Resolve, a solid GPU like the RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6700 XT would be mad useful and speed up your workflow like crazy. I would recommend saving some cash on the GPU and spending as much as you can on storage and ram - that's where the real magic happens.
RAM: Very important. 32GB is recommended, 16GB is an absolute must unless you want everything chugging along. More RAM speeds don't help much, but going for something like 3600MHz CL16 kit wouldn't hurt. If you're using After Effects, 32GB is the minimum - get 64GB if you want to go ham on complex projects.
Storage: Very very important. Buy a Gen 4 NVMe for storing your footage and project (i.e., project drive). Gen 3/4 NVMe for a snappy boot drive. 1 NVMe or SSD as a cache drive to keep things blazing fast. And 1 SSD to export your footage (tip: always export your video to seperate drive). Now accept that the era of HDDs is over unless you want to be watching progress bars all day.

Which laptop best for video editing under 50k
I think i5 13th 13600kf and rtx 3060 is best for everything 🔥, but i personally prefer i5 13600k over 13600kf.

I built my rig with a 3070 and a Ryzen 5 5600. I love everything about it, but there's 2 things I regret about my decision was 16GB DDR4 and 1tb ssd. Like i exhausted my budget but still now i can understand that it's definitely not enough.
For sure bro, 32gb is kind of a baseline for 4k projects.

My intention is not to make fun of people. This video is just to suggest what hardware you need to fulfill the needs of high paying clients.
Many of the clients shoot in very high resolutions like 4k 10bit log. Those kinds of footages are almost impossible to edit in lower level hardware.
Anyways, everybody starts somewhere. If you don't have that level of hardware, you can always earn your way upto that level.

Bhai mene hal hi me 12th ke exam diye hai mera interest editing, filmmaking me hai esliye editing se shuruaat karna chahta hu. mai ek chote se village se hu. Mera budget bahut kam hai , mai 20k tak ka second hand leptop hi buy kar sakta hu. Vo bhi dihadi,majduri karke. Mere pass abhi mobile hi hai.
Mene filmmaking and editing ke chakkar me kisi entrance exams ki tayari bhi nahi ki jiske karn local college se hi English literature course me admission lena chahta hu. Ab editing hi mera last option hai earning ke liye lekin confuse hu ki shuruaat kese kru.
So please any tips ya suggestion dijiye koi ❤😢
Aise me mai editing field me ghusne ke liye recommend nahi kar sakta. Editing me professional jaane ke liye achi machine lagti hai.

quiet miss leading becoz i3 12 gen can easily bang i5 10gen so instated of going for 5 or 7 or 9 look at the number in back of the processer like 10300h or etc and rememberi5 13gen can bang i9 8gen

also for graphic card:) graphic card also help a lot while going through timeline like just playing video , in short for smother video playback while editing graphic card is mandatory
Newer versions of software are better optimized for newer hardware. So it's not recommended to go for old hardware. If you are on a really tight budget, then only go for older hardware.☺️
And I never said you don't need a GPU. It's just that for running editing software, you don't need that much GPU power, as they are already very expensive.
Getting a high-end GPU only makes sense if you are into VFX and 3d.

This setup is good, it would not create bottleneck. In fact, I have used a PC with same specs at the gaming cafe near my house. It's very good config.

Bro, I'm a student and want to learn Video editing/graphic design or even 3D art and i want some suggestions about the laptop i had my eyes on for a copule of months. It's the Asus TUF F15 with i5-11400H , rtx 3050 (4GB[75 tgp]) at rs 59,900 on flipkart. Would it be good to buy it?
For video editing, it's a good beginner laptop. But for 3d, this would struggle a bit. But it would get the job done.

I think the Asus TUF series or Acer Aspire series would be a good choice. Just make sure that the processor has an 'h' in the end of it's name and not a 'u'......like i5 13420h. And make sure you get the RAM ungraded to 8+8 = 16 gb. Keep 2 sticks of 8gb RAM.

I can't suggest a pc for printing press, because I don't know much about it. But for light gaming, i5 or a Ryzen 5 with RTX 2050 or a GTX 1660 should be good in a budget. And off course 8gb RAM is a must. And try to go for SSD.
