He'll go away whenever we stop caring. It's so frustrating, because you and I are technically contributing to it, but it's just so annoying how so many people still care about him. He hasn't fought in years, and he was kind of a joke even in his last several fights.

The only way we see Conor fight is if 100m plus is on the line. I wish he would do khabib 2. Didn’t sugar Ray Leonard retire for 6 years and became announcer announcer then said I’m the only man who can beat this guy then he beat him and retired again? Also George Foreman did it as well. Yes they didn’t have the terrible injury but 6 years is a long time and Conor is still somewhat young. Remember Conor was fighting very young. I’m not saying he can compete at the highest level but I do genuinely believe he could fight against guys like Chandler and gathje and even Holloway. IF he was sober for a solid year then put it together and tried but I think he would do much better in bkfc. Had bkfc been around when Conor started his career he potentially would have went undefeated being one of the best strikers of all time. I do believe he could be a bkfc champion if he cleaned up his act. But he doesn’t want that pain. He is only fighting for 100s of millions he won’t fight for 5 million or even 10 million and bkfc is to much damage he isn’t going there.

If you isolate these issues like you suggest, there are actually athletes that overcame many of the obstacles. Drugs? Jon Jones. Rape (allegations?)? Tyson. Long retirement? GSP 4 years (Conor beat Cerrone 5 years ago). The question really is the tibia/fibula and IF Conor’s has what these other GOATs have.
Btw Conor used to be what excited me most about MMA, but I think he’s an embarrassment lately and your content is by far the best thing going. Thank you, Mr. Sonnen!

Israel is a legend and part of that is his dedication to being the best fighter in his division for a long period but also to being an entertainer for the fans. Remember the undertaker walkout? Who in the company even thinks like that or would do something like that? Connor McGregor was a better example with the Sinead O'Connor walkout performance. Those are moments that transcend fighting and wins in my opinion.

Genuine question if Conor got sober 100% right now for a solid year then did a solid training camp and genuinely put all he had into recovery and fighting do you believe he could fight in the top 15 of the ufc at 155 or 170 weight class? I think he could against certain opponents like Chandler or Justin gathje but not the top 5. BUT in BKFC I believe he genuinely would be a serious threat to the belt at 165 pounds ish where’s it’s only striking he is a serious contender. But I want Conor to run for president and liberate Ireland from the illegal alien invasion and corrupt government that’s what he needs to do! but sobriety has to become the number one goal in his life if he wants to be taken seriously that’s all he has to do. If he did that he would be unstoppable and would become irelands leader I genuinely believe if anyone could do it it would be him and the people need him wether they admit it or not he is the only guy they have he is their only hope with the power to do it. He needs to get a doctor lock himself in the house with him for 6 months and get back to training or even just relaxing and taking a break from work to allow him to recover.

Inability to improve cardio and pace is and always has been Conor's weakness...a weakness that plagues his every thought since Nate 1. He played that in his favor up until that point fighting at 145, counting on overpowering, knocking opponents out and never worrying about putting his everything into the first 10 minutes. It worked. He should've 100% worked on his weight management and stayed at 145. He looked like death because he managed the cut wrong. He used to be called a weight bully, turns out sooo many featherweight, lightweight and welterweight fighters have a walk around weight much higher per weight class than Conor ever did. Look it up. Conor was 168 vs Nate in 2020. One could wonder if he let the jabber about his weight and cutting to 145 actually get to him. Volk walks around near 180 and he said he was 172 in one of his fights. I can 100% guarantee Conor was never even close to that vs anyone at 145 or 155. Yes, he's a wacko and a narcissistic douche often, but he didn't have the right mindset, wasn't humble enough to actually ever do anything other than his way. Also, I believe his brain was jostled around pretty bad in the last few rounds vs Mayweather(go back and watch that pummeling). If he submitted to a wise methodical coach/program, yes at 36, he could compete very well, but none of that is ever happening. Peace

At this point I ont think conor could defend himself against the milkman. As for the tyson v paul fight, it was clearly a scripted fight and nothing fighters clearly pulled punches at various times in the fight. Everyone needs to boycot every fight jake paul is in because he won't fight real boxers on a level playing field and when he did he lost to an absolutely horrendous boxer

Over a decade since aldo & half a decade since he had one in the win column. When is everyone going to accept the man is done & dusted with MMA on the elite level? If anything more props to him for making the kind of money & legacy he did in such a short time but it’s time to face the facts, he was always going to burn out rather than fade away.

    He's made his money.

He's 1 major lawsuit away from prison or living on benefits again.
    Possibly even both.
