@@crunchycountrycatholic thank you. I have some newer videos showing other weave structures. Take a look at my How She Made That series. Thank you for your kind words.
I was doing something similar to this today, it was a twill but done like overshot with pattern of 2 threads, pick of tabby but it came out super weird, like my 2/2 twill was becoming 1/3 except the tie up doesn’t allow that and it looked fine till washed...
Hmm. The origin of overshot is most likely twill. Overshot generally has a pattern shot that alternates with a tabby. The pattern shot is a thicker thread than the tabby. What types and sizes of thread were you using?
This is lovely 😍

Hello Kathy, thank you for this information. How many shafts would I need to make these patterns? The patterns are beautiful! : )
Thank you. I am working on an eight shaft loom. The threading is in the shape of an M.
Thank you so much for responding! Would I need an eight shaft loom to weave these patterns? I only have a four shaft loom. Thank you so much! :
@@ASimpleTwistofFate101 I am afraid you would need one. If you go to www.handweaving.net you can search for many four shaft patterns.
@@RNRWovenTreasures Thank you! : )
