Thank you again to Andrew for the great chat. I wanted to take this brief bit of text to clarify my position of A.i. which I did not elaborate on enough in my answer. In general, I am against the theft of artists hard work and the idea of automating the artistic process. I understand the counter-arguments and agree that there are some benefits to this technology in other fields. However, I ultimately do not think a.i. will harm the fine arts, because there will always be an element of specialization to what garners wider appreciation. The easier to use and more widely available a program becomes, the less "rare" and mysterious it becomes. There is a level of unattainable difficulty encoded into a painting that no "short-cut" medium will ever achieve. As JFK said (not verbatim) "we're going to the moon not because it is easy"...
