    Ordered one of these a few months back for this coming hunting season. It feels like a much safer option for those of us that one stick

      I think this is a very good option! And if you one stick, you are already ahead of the learning curve!

    Version 1.0. GREAT idea...it's gonna kill sticks. Just NOT in it's current form. Presently....not great. If I'ma stick guy....never gonna order it.

      I think it’s killer. Same concept as one sticking. Just quieter, lighter, and potentially easier. I haven’t officially used one yet. But I will. And I will report back. I think it’s a great tool to have in any hunter’s arsenal

      @@robzmancave Absolutely it's a killer. I called it 1.0 for 3 reasons. It DOES NOT get rid of slack, so you're still taking chances. Two, the way it works is a bit age "restricted". And the last, which I think is a big, but with an easy solution, I'll reserve. Totally lighter, packable and relatively easy to handle. Work out the kinks - sticks will die a fast death. I'm all for that....I hate 'em with a passion.
      Stay safe out there!!

    Have it, love it. Light and compact for long, steep walks in. Def get the daisy extensions though.

    How do you get the stirrups back to the top after you pull it up?? Your feet are in the stirrups obviously when you reach down to pull up the sladder

    • @robzmancave
      @robzmancave  3 місяці тому

      There are stirrups on both ends.

    So how do you climb down the tree. My understanding is you pull up on the Dixie chin to disconnect so when it is connected above you and you need to move down the tree how does this work?

      @@tylerrufenacht7100 good question, I think rappelling would be the only way here. Which is what I prefer with all climbing methods anyway.

    • @zanetracks6592

      I prefer to rappel down. My rappel line is also my tether. But you can climb down w it. Check the greysquirrel video on climbing down w/o rappel
