I am the fleet specialist for our fire department. One of our front-line emergency tahoes experienced this same issue. I took the unit out of service and checked vin for recall. It did not show up for the recall, and Chevy could not replicate the issue. With this issue, I could not put it back into service due to liability. Watching your video may have just saved some lives, knowing what the issue is and resolving it. Good job.
my 2015 suburban, i just got a new motor installed, everything works , drives good, except the power steering is so hard to turn and says power steering assist drive with care.. would it be possible its the same ground you just showed in your video? also my battery went dead overnight after i jumped it. or do i need to reprogram it
@@javieracosta858 so i brought it to a car shop and they found a ground wire not hooked by my mechanic. i wish they told me where it was located but they charge me 60 dollars for diagnostics, and about 60 dollars for labor. , the ground wire fxied the power steering issue and my battery draining also got fixed.
I just had the same problem the steering asst came on & it was hard to steer. I did what u said, in the video I took it off & cleaned it even though it wasn't dirty & so, far it works now. I hope that was the problem. Thanks
On a 2015 gmc terrain have same issue. Speed meter sticks about 24mph has bad pick up and showed pou100 code. Do you know where ground for engine would be cz its intrrmeten sometimes runs ok.thanks

Danggit it only for for about a mile the the driver asst came back on saying drive with care.
Use some dielectric grease, if problem persist check wire diagram for power and grounds to steering assist
