Why do buyers agents get paid a commission from the seller? Believe in the USA the lawsuit was one and this will No longer be the case in the US. I hope they do the same thing in Canada. It's outrageous.
A number of years ago, my neighbour had listed, with a real estate agent, her deceased father's office/apartment building for sale in the winter. During one of the showing, someone accidentally shut off what they thought was a light switch in the unfinished basement. The switch actually controlled the power to the furnace. A few days later, the building cooled down enough to cause the water pipes to freeze and burst on the second floor. Building was ruined and had to be sold at a fraction of what it was worth. It was not known who shut the switch off. Building should have been checked by somebody ever two days, especially in the winter.
The selling real estate agent totally doesn’t care. Higher commission houses make these condos not worth their time.
Toronto condos have gone down in price from 4 years ago. Tough for speculators that bought precons and will be closing soon. Immigration is only going to be a fraction of what has been forecasted. Its either going to be flat for a long time, or slowly lose more value.
Maybe the seller of the condo is not living in canada😅
3,600 for sale. 200 sales a week?
Developers and the bankers made insane profits well before covid,
Condos are up 50 percent last 5 years so they need to drop 50 percent to go back to reality and affordability, specially when you add insane maintenance fees.
supply and demand - look it up
Sorry but if the owner cannot take care of it for whatever reasons, at least, the listing agent who is going to make several thousand dollars on it, should solve the problem but not screw up the sale because of a bad smell.
People should hire a property manager if you don't have the time or not physically present in the city. We can manage it for you even in all situations including sale, coordinating with realtors and offering good contracts to keep the property in best shape and revenue focused.
All plumbing traps will dry out after a month depending on temperature and allow sewer gas to come in. This includes, sinks, toilets, floor drains, laundry.
Seller must be lucky. The methane build up can cause explosion.
"Condo's" does not need an apostrophe, unless the condos actually possess something.
They refer leave it vacant then rent to scumbag don’t pay the rent
