Glad your Royal videos were on my recommended the other day. I just realized that really good girl on royal is zoe on the real so cal and odp teams. look forward to watching her future, her touch, vision, timing, shot on both feet, etc are all extremely good. hard to believe you can lose a game with her on the team. I played for so cal united about 14 years ago, before the academy came around or real so cal. AB was coaching back then too. We won the national cup, fun times!

Wow! The AR was so wrong on that offside call @7:55. It is much easier to see because of the football hash marks and the elevated position of the camera. Again, I just knew you were going to show us another example of the ineptitude of the officials. :) But the center official was actually very good in this game from what I saw and seemed to keep the game in control and was fair to both sides. The Pateeadores' keeper was spot on in this game and kept her team from getting blown out because Real SoCal clearly dominated gameplay. Nice video again, and a great left footed shot from Zoe after the nice advantage play from that one touch flick! Real's goalie as well had a couple of really good saves too.
How do you know that was not offside against white at the 7:55 mark????? Your video does NOT show the positions of the players in question when the ball was played by white. When you froze the video and inserted your comment, the ball had traveled 10-15 yards. At the moment of kick, was that white attacker offside but was coming back so that she did not look offside?
1 refs out of position - you can see it in the video 2 players are running on to the ball - while they are fast I don't they ran onsides to establish then turned and started running with the ball 3 I video with a second camera that has a wider field and you can see she was onside for duration of the play 4 usually the ref will make a signal with their hands when they want to indicate off / on 5 generally the refs did a great job on this game - no complaints - I just see this a lot where they are ball watching or out of position and call people off when they are on
#1 I agree that the AR IS not correctly positioned. #2 If both an attacker and defender are taking 1 step in opposite directions at the same time, they will move relative to each other 3-4 yards. So yes, they can move that distance in half a second. My point is that one can't tell from this video. But I won't dispute that you're correct. #3 Great videos, by the way!
7:51 is the time you should be looking at. At this time you can not tell if the AR is out of position or where the attacker is in relation to the second to last defender. If the attacker is in an offside position at the time the ball is played to her then she steps into in onside position to get ready for the ball it is still an offside infraction. You claim to have another camera with a wider angel, could you post the link in this comment section?
1:22 blue 7 elbows white jersey in the back in the box. 2:05 blue 26(?) trips white jersey player 4:13 incorrect call, you can see blue14 makes every attempt at the legs of white jersy player and not for the ball, started off by grabbing arm should have been white kick no cards must have been some foul language to invoke 2 yellows. 4:56 blue kicks the legs no call 5:14 blue throws her body at white 5:50 shoulder to shoulder bad AR 5:58 blue makes no play for the ball just a body check 6:15 if 5:50 was a foul then what was this! 6:58 clearly blue made no play for the ball and never touched it another prime foul 7:09 again! 7:18 again! ok maybe shoulder to shoulder... Pateaadores played better Real So Cal got lucky

I took no longer than you did, no worries, got time - enjoy the vids, watch these with my daughter. My only intention is to point out how many times Blue is "going for the ball" (as you say) but does not get it. This demonstrates lack of ability to get the ball and poor decision making. Not the kids fault, it's poor coaching in youth development.
4:13- How come Real So Cal had the penalty against them? If the ref has eyes, he would clearly see that the girl from the Peadators (or however you spell it) pushed her worth her arm.
