- Hey guys its been a longtime since I've not made any content yet , so this is my first video for 2020 and here's the new guitar I've gotten about a month ago , this new Ibanez GRG121DX in Walnut Flat finish and its gorgeous looking , I really love the result of it.

I have the same guitar, yesterday I am upgrade with Dimarzio IBZ pickups. Bridge 16 k ohms and Neck 8.6 k and now the it sound super. Ibanez pickups is low impedance with only 5.2 ohms both N and B. I recommend but that guitar is low price good stuff. Thanks for the exposition
I use the same GRG121DX with a Marshall mg10g practice amp and it does a great job. I don't do live so reverb and chorus effect are not required for me. This guitar is best suited for metal if you ask me personally. If you install Seymour Duncan alnico 3 pickups then this sounds just like the Gibson's
Well yeah I wish I’ll put those but I prefer EMG’s and even Duncan Blackouts, would even put these kind of pickups in the future. Yes this guitar is suited for any genre like Metal or any other.

Does position 4 on this guitar sound similar to the pos 4 on a strat?
Well this guitar has a 5-way switch and sounds like the neck middle sounds on single coils but it has two humbuckers.
When you bought a guitar, were there any scuffs on the neck in the form of white spots, as if after cleaners? however, the guitar case itself in the store looks perfect, but the neck has an uneven color with white scuffs, I really want to buy this guitar, but they dissuade me because you can’t put 12-54 strings on it because the neck just starts to bend if the pitch is not lowered, if the string is lowered, then you can put the strings 12-54. Have you changed strings? What has changed since you bought a guitar? Has the system become better preserved?
You play as nervously as I am on camera, I’m also a beginner, my friend gave me his old guitar but it’s already really bad.

Yes the fretboard is so good never had any problems with it.
Fret ends are a little bit sharp. Besides that I like the neck and the fretboard as well.

Well on the practice amp for me works fine , I have two pedals being a NUX Metalcore & Joyo California.

No..... it comes with allen keys for the bridge and truss rod adjustments.
Is there any difference between the sounds of Walnut Flat and Black Flat?

Like say Cort KX300 vs KX300 etched.

@@IfIDont_NobodyWill The walnut finish does not have open pores since it has clear satin sprayed on it.
Hello, I want to buy this guitar, but I have some doubts. What do you think about guitar? I live in Turkey and guitars are quite expensive here, so I have to make a good option. Just bought it man...but I am having issue with the tone and volume nobs cause they tend to make noise on the middle..apart from that it's a great guitar

I’m having the same problems. Mine has a god earful buzz like it’s got really bad single coils. Any fix?
It’s an entry level guitar. The electronics is low end. Try shielding it or use a noise gate.

It has a 5-way switch like a Stratocaster so you get a very good smooth sound depends on any amp you use with good settings.

get a new amp i suggest a boss katana- 50 MkII cheap but a really good amp

Pedal first since they are smaller more portable less expensive and usually you use them with bigger amps too.

Yes it is for a good price you can find it like on reverb or eBay and any site that has this guitar in stock.

It feels good and no issues at all.
If you want a good sound upgrading the pickups can help or you can tweak the settings of the amp.

@@acousticjack342 yeah well problem is that some guitars can have quality control issues, it’s better to buy a guitar that’s in good shape, reverb is the best option.

Yes I did play the neck pickup, played at both sides because it’s a 5-way switch in this guitar.
