Not a big Dior fan, but I LOVE embroidery. It's a craft I do regularly, but that level and detail or work is really time consuming. Dior's embroidery is LEGENDARY, the craftmanship has always been so exacting. I think the hand embroidered Lady Dior bags and boxes look like investment pieces. Embroidery, because of how it is constructed is always unique. I could get behind the big price increases if the brands started making all luxury pieces more individualized and unique. Is that something you consider at all when you look for items?

Thanks for the lovely browse around harrods. The embroidered dior bags always take my breath away. One day, I'm going to get one for the sole purpose of looking pretty on a shelf. Good luck finding a decent pillow, We've spent a fortune and still struggle. Your prada bag is 😍btw and I'm now on the hunt (for an emotional support handbag, that I can stroke when I'm anxious 😆)

I absolutely love getting to look at the museum thank you. I was in England in June but we could only stay in London for a few days as my son was doing tours of universities. He since gone off and left me and is up in Newcastle playing soccer at Northumbria. I miss him terribly and have been buying new handbags to pass the time. LOLOL.

This is making me excited for Friday. I am going to Harrods this week and I am excited to see the pieces. I did a video two weeks ago on my YT on the pieces that are going to be exclusive for Harrods (my SA had sent it to me) but I want to see it in person and now I'm excited. thank you for taking us out ^^ love the embroidered Dior bags - they're so pretty! I would feel so scared to wear one out though haha. Also have loved the dior material bags - the ones with the blue stitching. I wonder If there are any good dupes of those.. and also I LOVE that style of furniture! It feels homey to me - warm neutrals, reds golds etc. I think it would be so cool to fit those pieces in a home in a homey feeling way! ^^ lovely. Definitely my style.

Lo❤ve the National Gallery, I used to just go and wander around when my daughter was a tiny baby and I was bored. I’m so lucky that it’s 20 mins away. And their teas are amazing!

I use a memory foam pillow which is contoured. I am a side sleeper so it works best. The cat likes it too

Love the blue bird Dior, and am I wrong.. you were low on rain this summer? I thought the Thames was down? We are so glad to have rain here in Minnesota as it’s been so dry this summer. The first furniture you shied us, not my thing. I’ve always been a fan of simple, clean lines. The older I get, the more simple I like it.
7:40 I really like the shape of the Lady Dior but I'm not a fan of the quilting. That bag is incredible! I love embroidery, and no logo! I will never be able to afford it, but wow, just wow. left me speechless.

This is so random but my mum kept having loads of issues with pillows and kept buying more and couldn’t get a good one… Turns out it was actually her mattress! She bought a new mattress and suddenly all of her neck issues were gone and the pillows were fine! Might be worth considering if you haven’t had a new mattress in a little while 😊❤

Hey Sophie, loved the new Dior collection.
Sophie: for pillows, AMAZON has some amazing down pillows--also Ikea's feather model is wonderful. I do the Ikea on bottom with the down on top. I have tried every crazy expensive brand under the sun and these are really the best (and seem to last the longest). Also, can I just say that Dior is killing it right now with blue and white? So so pretty.
I also recommend The National Portrait Gallery which has all the paintings of people and oh how they bring history to life! The art galleries are the greatest joy of London life! If I had the money to buy furniture like that, I would prefer antiques. Just personal taste though. I would never spend money like that on a pillow, though it is worth considering that if you are having four pillows, the decorative ones do not need to be quality, only the one each with you and your husband actually use. Unless you use two each, which many people do.

Hi Sophie, a lovely vlog and I hope you enjoyed your day off as much as I enjoyed watching. I have a nostalgia for chaise long as my god mother had one in her house in my teens, and I remember making long phone calls to my boyfriend at the time sitting on it - but for me I am happy with my memories and wouldn't buy one! Just in case you didn't find a pillow I can recommend swapping to a single memory foam pillow, I have a Tempur one which is brilliant - no more neck ache ☺💐💐💐

For those not familiar, the five big museums in London, such as the portrait gallery in this video are free (at point of entry, we pay a part in our taxes). Definitely recommend checking them all out. (Literally wrote this comment as you said it was free 😂)

@@CleverGirlLP yeah that’s why I said at point of entry. Though personally I don’t mind buying via taxes for something educational such as those museums. For each person per year it’s literally pennies.

@@SophieShohetOfficial That’s great Sophie! If you are a side sleeper and need the pillow to be higher, I suggest getting queen size and stuffing it into a regular size case. That’s my trick! I hope you will enjoy those pillows 😊

I actually got some great pillows from Amazon. I get neck aches as well and they have some which have refillable memory foam pieces so you can adjust the height. They are brilliant.
