    Got this when it first came out and sadly only used it a couple of times. I think it’s time to take it out of storage and learn photography like I wanted to do so many years ago.

    I found a T1i with EFS 18-55mm lens at a thrift store. $30 with 25% off for senior discount, so only cost me $22.50 , no charger. After I bought the charger on eBay and charged it up. The result is good after I tried with different lenses. That’s a steal !

    still got my t1i and 500d , accessories are cheap and plentiful like lens ect , used them to film and photograph local dam spillway failure in 2019 just wished i had grabbed my tripod before evacuating . many documentary's purchased my photos and videos , and i appeared in one on science channel engineering catastrophes season 4 episode 7 second part and many episode intros after this aired . great hobby and these a good cameras and at the price they are much less risky to take out and damage than other options .also great to use for experimenting and learning photography

    • @bestoca
      @bestoca 2 роки тому +3

      @@SixStringShredder Are you sure it isn't a 32 MB card? 89 shots is extremely low for 32 GB. I shoot products and food for a living and only use 32GB sd cards for hundreds of shots at a time in RAW which are the largest size in terms of Megabytes.
      If your mainly going to be shooting astrophotography then by all means go for the longer lens, makes far more sense for your needs. Good luck I'm sure it will be a huge learning curve!

      Thanks! It shoots only a couple frames per second. So not good for sports or wildlife or anything that changes quickly. Can it work? Yes. But it will be more difficult than cameras only a little more expensive or slightly newer.

    Este video es engañoso, la prueba de video con la t1 está deliberadamente mal enfocada, al contrario que en la Mark 2 donde se utiliza el autofoco de la cámara. En una cámara como la T1 lo que hay que hacer es preparar bien el estudio, ponemos un objeto donde va a estar el locutor (por ejemplo una almohada, una escalera, algo a lo que poder enfocar), enfocamos a dicho objeto en manual y bloqueamos el autofoco del objetivo, luego nos colocamos en el lugar marcado con el objeto y ya tenemos un enfoque correcto, y por supuesto usar un buen objetivo 35mm f1.4 o 50mm f1.8 como mucho y buena iluminación, la posproducción hara el resto.
