- How well can a more realistic gooseneck hitch connect to 1:64 gooseneck trailers? I give it a try using a GreenLight Ram 3500 Flatbed with provided trailer hitches. Let's roll!

Awesome Video. I’m going to also do that to my white Ram 3500 flatbed as well, after I get it all back together. I’m going to be shortening mine to a standard cab.
I've been doing this for a long while and to be more sturdy and very realistic still this is how I do it Mark a cross with a ruler Center, and then drill a hole into the bed where you marked, go to any hardware store and buy a box of the smallest finish off nails that you can buy, very sturdy and very realistic and you still have your bumper hitch, nice video, hope this helps,
Question, what size drill bit? I assume the smallest one. Yeah I was getting on myself over saving the bumper hitch once I thought of it. You are appreciated ✔

Hey practice makes perfect I didn't learn everything I know just like that, over the years I got smarter and came up with a lot of better ideas been doing it for 8 to 10 years now

Dan Russell It’s the one area I think they could improve. Certainly don’t mean to knock against them, aside from the gooseneck hitch this truck and the other 3500s in this series are the best. They even have the towing mirrors on them!

I bought a green light gooseneck trailer at a toy show one time and me being the lazy person I am I didn’t glue it down but instead I had an m2 gmc that I just wedged the hitch in between the fenders of and it works pretty good
I like to use Insta set from hobby lobby. Drys glue almost right away. I drilled a hole in the truck I glued a ball in.

I have a idea for a 5th wheel and trailer hitch ....its call a grease fitting they have a ball like a hitch and there threaded on one end ..I'm gonna to get some from the auto parts stores tomorrow..the also come in different sizes as well ..( called grease fitting )

xii ultimatum If I could do this vid over again I’d cut the ball hitch off a different truck so that the bumper-pull trailer hitch remains on the flatbed. It’s up to you how you want to do it 👍🏽

I wish I could show you a picture of my GreenLight Ram 3500. I shortened the cab to turn it into a standard cab and lifting it to put on single wheels.

I painted that over (matte black) instead of trying to remove it with acetone. Swapped out the windows, more pics of that are on Instagram 😎

I’m going to be cutting both sides, in front of the rear door handle. How would you go about converting one of these GreenLight Ram 3500’s into a standard cab? How would you make the front fender flares that the Ram 4500/5500 trucks have?
Awesome, I've never done either of those things and don't have the right tools to do it. I have wondered if the MBX Ram single cab would work on a GL dually pickup truck bed 🤔

Michael Rzeszuto the axles are fine but the tires weren’t made evenly all around. Dunno if I’ll mess with it

Just got a green light f350 dually and a goose neck how do I secure the hitch to the truck?
I think the same way I showed in this video could work for the bed of the pickup truck. It would need to be centered perfectly; if that F-350 has a little square in the middle like on the Ram 3500 that would help a lot

Well my top 4 have been Meijer, Hobby Lobby, Kroger (Marketplace) and Amazon. eBay's another good one, but I set up a storefront full of listings that I always link to and update as best as I can over on Amazon ✅
How did you take the decals off the ram
The truck is a matte black so I simply painted over the body with a matte black paint marker. The windows I swapped with a GreenLight Ram 2500. Some pics of the result are on Instagram

These wobble axle on the back of the ram you can change it with another or not?
With the dually 3500s what I always do instead is slide the tires around on the wheel, or trim the tire just slightly. I should just totally replace them but I never have. Thank you for viewing! ✔
