    the 3m tape in the sun......how's it hold up? They look amazing but I'd be worried bout getting into my car and they fall off in the summer.

      Is there a nice LED option? I have LED lighting in and out and would like to be consistent.

      @@ScottParisi From our years of testing, we've found the LEDs to be problematic and create faults which is why we include a halogen bulb like Porsche does.

      @@Flat6Motorsports, thank you. Maybe I'm naive but thought I had 100% LED lighting on my 2021. Thanks again for the reply.

    Nice video and Excellent mods for the Macan! I’m strongly leaning toward getting a Macan, though I keep hearing about too many oil leaks and HPFP issues. How’s your experience been?

    • @Flat6Motorsports
      @Flat6Motorsports  3 роки тому +3

      We haven't seen or heard of many HPFP issues, so I am unsure of that. The oil leaks can be an easy fix. Overall, not many issues but common European stuff here and there.

      @@Flat6Motorsports Easy fix? What do you do for a timing chain cover leak? Mine started leaking pretty badly at 24k miles.

    • @Flat6Motorsports
      @Flat6Motorsports  3 роки тому +7

      @@cbrooks2767 you can remove the airboxes and get to the timing bolts from up top. The dealer will pull the entire drivetrain and reseal everything. If you're under warranty, I'd do that but if you're not, it's just as effective and much cheaper to just replace the bolts/gaskets. Once the bolts have been replaced, it shouldn't be an issue going forward.

    I wonder if you have upgraded the 4cylinder turbo (265) with chiptrim or bigger turbo and if so what result did you get? Thx

      We have done a few with turbo upgrades but I haven't had one on the dyno yet to get numbers.

      @@Flat6Motorsports ok it would be interesting to know, the old 4 cyliner model with 245 could get 315 horse power, and the 265 from 2022 I am interested in when you know please let us know thx

    Porsche doesn't stand behind the quality of their vehicles. The transfer case on my 2015 Macan S has failed twice now in only 27,000 miles. This is a known issue which caused Porsche to extend their warranty to 7 ys. Their "improved" transfer case lasted only 2 years 2 months and 9,000 miles. I am out of warranty by 6 weeks and Porsche turns their back on problem and sticks me for $3,200 repair. Don't buy a Porsche w/o extended warranty for entire length of time you expect to own it. #1 rated warranty company - Endurance - won't even sell coverage on Macan. That should tell Porsche and all potential buyers something. Customer experience is far from an expected premium car brand experience.
