If you ask me Lokesh is very smart and I appreciate it for that. He deliberately didn't add that scene in the movie. Because he knew that's the most important scene of the whole movie and if it was added in the movie people will see at that time and will forget it once they come out of the theatre. But if that scene alone was shown on UA-cam or on other social media platforms then it will create awareness and everyone will keep talking about it like we are doing it now.
This scene must be included. It's the matter of mothers who couldn't accept the bad deeds of their children. It's the matter of realization for both mother and her child.

If this scene was suggested to be removed I can partly understand it, not because I like the censorship, but because it takes so little to get offended. Somebody will get irked at the scene and file a complaint, because .........(insert religion/profession/community name) was hurt. I prefer this scene over the archery fight scene which came out of the blue in the movie
