This looks amazing. I have bought the meater too. Was the 78 you were referred ng to the temp on it? I am very new to the AK and still very nervous of using it. Your recipes are fab. Thanks
Hi. This looks great. First question, where did you get your pan from that you use in this. Second one, you say make sure to use your deflector but in the video you haven’t used it?
The drip pan is in the description buddy but I'll stick it here too amzn.to/3CjKJRZ I should have used a deflector as the pan smoked was mental from all the fat. I dropped a metal one in after 10 mins or so. I did mean to set it up with the deflector and just forgot
@@BBQLIFE Hello, thank you for the videos. This drip pan in the video looks differen to the one in the video. Yours is all black, but the one in the link has red handles.
Hi Tom, what size "my spike" do you use for the aldi kamado? my kamado 2022 version .... couldn't see a link for it and it seems there are two sizes ... 20cm and 25cm ... cheers, Jane
@@BBQLIFE I got the 20cm one and when I tried it on the grill it was quite awkward to close the lid and open again. I'm quite keen to try this as it looks lush.
Thanks for sharing this recipe. Definitely going to be a winner
The smell is unbelievable
That’s a great video. I need to try that. 🔥
We love it
Great videoTom, love that “My Spike” can’t wait for the rest of the series! Stay Safe 👍🇬🇧🇺🇦
Not got to wait long 5pm today
I've done something similar in the oven in the past, it really is tasty
Bit of smoke 👌🏻
This is so good, thank you
Cheers 🍺

Enjoy
@@BBQLIFE thanks so much Tom! am really enjoying my Aldi Kamado and definitely enjoying your channel :)
Great 👍🏻 🍺
Going to have to try this later this week… looks amazing! What fat content did you use for your lamb/beef mince?
Beef was 20% lamb didn't say it was just supermarket lamb mince 🍺
Hey, dude. Did you keep the lid open for this? I have a 20cm MySpike and the lid won't close properly with it on.
Centralised it and the spike top sits in the chimney recess

Do you have a mini kamado or the larger £400ish one?
@@BBQLIFE the mini
That's why mate I had I big one. So I don't think it will fit.
