Hey Fans! My apologies for 2 short segments at 1:49 and 9:08 in the video. I had to cover these with "non-copyright music". A song I had been using for months suddenly required a license. It's an inconvenience for sure. Hope you enjoy the new culturally rich and energetic replacement music.
That was great. If GTR is going to have another best drift competition, Isley's drift in R8 has to be a contender. One of the best drifts I have seen here at GTR. Love the new runway cam. The cars look awesome as they come together and race toward you. Brilliant!. Look forward to next round. Great show🏁
🥳🥳 *THIRTY THOUSAND SUBSCRIPTIONS!!* 🥳🥳 Way to go, GTR, so very well deserved that you reached this glorious milestone! The show is so good, even without the distraction of a live chat premiere, a second viewing is so often warranted, just _WOW!_ Can we get a hearty *OHHH, YEAH!* for that Kool-Aid coloured truck by ICT? Bashing through the wall of very stiff competition on a venue so many are itching to master. Bravo-Zulu and well done! Yup, I for one, was aware of the hidden meaning behind Sam Haul's race team name, just so long as those in the comments don't seek to emulate Crow, Tom Servo & Mike 😆
THAT was unreal! What a race. Mass respect to Sam Haul & Blueline, I’m fortunate to best some of the best! Not easy to move on when ya miss the train! Congrats to Isley for a great run!
Привет ребята!) первый раз решил посмотреть с субтитрами с авто переводом... 😂 вместо "подержите моë пиво, ребята", переводчик написал "О подержите мою бороду, боже"😂
Another great show!! The action was great you never know who will win on this track. Last race show it all. And definitely the best halftime show in Diecast Racing
Wow!! What a race!! Another outstanding video!! Congrats to the drivers moving on and great job by all the builders. It was definitely the day for the rookie!!
I really like the new Half time. It's great to see the 2 non-winning trucks again. Also, that camera view is awesome on the runway. Another great race as always. Thank you.
Hey, Don I noticed your name Don Knott, at 69yrs old Don Knotts was one of my favorite actors, I went to his grave site at Westwood village memorial, just seeing his headstone made me cry, it's about two foot square with all the different characters he played, peace ✌ out my friend from Sacramento, California
A fantastic display of racing today, especially from the rookie Isley. Look forward to seeing more of him on other tracks. I'm sure cousin Ricky wouldn't have restarted the race, as rubbing is racing! 😆
That was an amazing drift in the last race, right when it was needed the most. I love the train races, they're so huge when they're handled well and tragic when they aren't. Well done to all four teams!
Not sure how the algorithm got me here? I greatly appreciate that it did. This is magnificent. It tickles all the right parts of my amygdala. I was a hot wheels / matchbox kid. Got to play with the tracks with my kids. Made some pretty sweet jumps. Magic times. They go way too fast. Subscribed
Hey Andrew! I totally relate to your well written comment. I'm glad you're here. This is a great hobby. The truck you see are all mail-ins from around the world, literally! Behond the scenes, there's a fantastic diecast community of builders and race hosts! Check out redlinederby.com
@@gravitythrottleracing I live in Wisconsin. Seems like it’s a popular team location? What’s up with the Minnesotan’s? They always are a few years behind. It’s ok. We still love them. lol
I’m obviously not alone in the opinion that this was an awesome race to watch. The videos seem to keep getting better. The runway track camera is a nice addition with a really cool view. The trucks just flew over The Scrambler with ease, which was nice to see.
Thanks for the feedback, Billy. I know there's a minority who aren't too keen on the Scrambler. They say it disrupts the flow. My goal was to add a degree of difficulty that makes finishing 1st all the more difficult. Good builds like the ones in this video rise above the Scrambler most of the time; however, I think it was race 7 when Georgio passed Sam Haul halfway down and finished in 2nd. The main purpose is to make you hold your breath until it crosses the finish line.
The amount of variety on your track is part of what makes it so enjoyable for me to watch. I was just reading the posts in the RLD forum about the points penalty for tuning up the Baja Bouncers; which is also something that I enjoyed seeing the results from. Real car racing has testing, practice and tuning before the qualifying and before the race, with pit stops and adjustments during the main race. Being able to trade points for tuning or repairs for diecast racing just makes sense, especially for the rookies who haven’t had previous experience with your track. Personally, I’ve been looking for ways to tune my diecast cars in similar ways to how I’ve tuned my R/C vehicles before and during a race, mostly inspired by your track. Running down Hot Wheels, Crash Racers and Sizzlers track makes for some reliable results that most people can test at home but a custom built track like yours encourages some creativity and experimentation; but without a way for the builder to adjust the setup after it’s sent in, it can be risky to try something too different. The upper part of the track seems to reward a stiff suspension but The Scrambler seems to demand some softness. Little adjustments are certainly worth the 3 point penalty.
🎉Yes, a hard break. A bit of luck needed here as well.Yeah I'm still frustrated with my poor showing here, after testing etc here was positive. Oh well, back to the grind when I get home. Cheers from Wales in the UK
Luck is a part for sure. I could run these 4 again 8 times and end up with completely different results! On the flip side, i must release another "lessons learned" video. I can see what helps and what hinders far better in person, and i need to communicate that somehow. Cheers!
Catbird Seat: the position of most advantage. Lane 2 offers the best line into the Mesa Butte drift area. When the Train Jump Bonus is active, this position is even more advantageous Joker Lane: The track emulates Nitro Rallycross courses in real life. In that format, the Joker Lane is a _disadvantageous_ route each driver must take once in the course of a race
The way to enter is through redlinederby.com. I am part of a diecast racing community. Track hosts will post their race events here. This event and my next one are full, but you can find other events. I have a Gravity Throttle Racing Facebook page where, from time to time, i share about my plans to give builders an early heads up. Hope this helps.
If i remember correctly, Numbskulls truck veered back to the right side, so it wasn't close to the HMB guys. The marbles were close, but that doesn't qualify as a scare. Check out Johnny Smoke in the QF2 halftime. He pulled off a great scare!

I was wondering what happened there. I thought maybe your commentary didn’t load
too bad the commentary was also missing.
The last race was the "statement" race as one of the best races in GTR history...................AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
agreed
The drift in the last race proved to be a winner. Flawless
Superb action overall and Isley lands a seat in the best drift club! 🤘🏼
Isley clutch is crazy!! 🔥 No pun intended.

Race #8 is a GTR classic!
Felicitaciones por el gran trabajo que realizan. Siempre se reinventan y eso se agradece.
Saludos desde Chile.
Thank you! Greetings from GTR.
Some great views! Love the airplane intro and the cars coming to the drift before the race! Wow that last lap pass was epic!
Wow the sheer amount of overtakes and interplay between the vehicles is astounding. I will never get tired of watching races on this track!!
It's raining in my city and the cold has arrived, so under the blanket good wine and enjoy the race and cheer

I love when newcomers do well, and that drift in the last race? *chefs kiss*
Best looking track out there. Best camera-work out there. I luv the way you guys always incorporate new camera angles. BTW: The drifting was TITZ!!!

Gotta love this track and the action it brings. Top contenders falling early, upset qualifications, impressive performances.

Outstanding Racing Today! Congrats to the Drivers moving on. Nerves of Steel taking on Blueline and Sam Haul!
Hands down, best drift I’ve ever seen and with the chips on the line! What a performance.

Race 8: When you need The Perfect Drift at the right time.
Another excellent show and racing🏁🏎. Thanks so much. Have a great weekend.
It's not over till it's over for sure. One never knows with this awesome track. Back to the racing.
That was a beautiful drift on that last race.
Damn, what a wild round!
Just love the runway cam, another great race guy's thanks from Sacramento, California
Thank you for the feedback!
You had my attention straight from the start with that airplane cam!
OMG, the half time ... taking marbles to whole new level
Isley is the drift king!!!
🎉Cheers for the event, production and action! Good luck all!
Fantastic racing, congrats to those moving on! Can I get a shot at bowling now? 😄
Yes you can!!😂
Sam Bowl!!
Great track, great racing ❤
Isley's drift in race 8 was the best I've seen on this track. I was pulling for Georgio, though, and I'm happy to see him move on.
Isley received honors from the Alex Piz school of drifting! 😅
Another closely-fought round being decided on the final race! Love the new runway camera angle, especially with the train bearing down on us!
Thanks for the feedback!
Great racing and action. Gratz to the drivers moving on.
Awesome fun event, great job Mark.
"Keep your roof to the Sun." Mahalo! 🤙🏽
Pure awesome. 🍺🍺🤩😎🍺🍺
Quarter Finals🔥
I loved the camera shot of the trucks coming down the runway face on. 12 points for the final two races. Can’t get any better than that!

Aw man, I was busy working on the pool. Let's go.
Awesome!
Been waiting all week for this QF!!!
Terminology I had never heard before watching GTR: "Catbird seat". What the heck does that mean?
"Joker lane" Whaaa?

@Chris_Hood Well said to some important questions.

Yes sir! Diecast Racing Theatre 3000.
isley for drift of the year
Hi, the runway have to named 03-21!
Once again, the HMB guys are misrepresented in the halftime show Points Board - as HBM guys.
Thanks for catching that!
Out of all the races I have watched, I have only picked one winner. Might be cursed. Sorry Res, I had you picked for this race :)
Rez almost had it! Had he finished ahead of Georgio, they would have been tied. Rez is very fast!
Let’s go Isley
How can I enter one of my trucks?

I know the points didn't matter much in the half time show, but shouldn't Numbskull have ended with 35 pts for scaring the guys on the last run?
If i remember correctly, Numbskulls truck veered back to the right side, so it wasn't close to the HMB guys. The marbles were close, but that doesn't qualify as a scare. Check out Johnny Smoke in the QF2 halftime. He pulled off a great scare!

the only thing better than 2 of 4 is of course, 3 of 4!
