Installing a New Queen: How To Requeen a Beehive

- In this video, we'll show you how to requeen a beehive if your hive is queenless. Upon initial inspection, there was no brood to be found and other indicators of a queenless hive. Adding a queen to the hive this late in the season is a risky move, but must be done in order to give the bees the best chance for winter survival. Watch as we add her to the colony, and check back in a week to see if she is laying any brood.

Your Queen sounds like she's at the same risk as Queen Elizabeth the first! There were always people plotting to kill her! I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that she's successful in making friends! Lovely video and super interesting! xxx

Great video! I know nothing about bees but have watched lots of videos about them. This is the first one like this I've ever seen. Super informative and interesting. Thank you! And definitely way too hot to be wearing those suits. I bet they just trap the heat in too. yikes.😬
