This work is so breathtaking! It fits the song perfectly. From what I see, the heroine has donned a new identity as a mysterious freedom fighter whose unique abilities attracts the attention of the head of an influential corporation - an ambitious man who once promised to love her forever, only to betray her to those who coveted her powers. Now she is on a mission to topple a corporate empire built on corruption and treachery. With a heart of fire and a score to settle, she will inspire the world to fight back against nefarious forces that threaten to divest the people of their civil rights and autonomy.
Creators who make art like this are the reason why I still have hope, allbeit a little, in the modern world. I hope you're able to believe in love once more.
What I noticed was that at 1:54 the man's shirt was crossed right side over left--the way the kimono is fixed on a dead body before burial. Living people wear theirs crossed left side over right. Of course this isn't a kimono, it's some kind of shirt/jacket thing, but I think it's interesting that right after we see his torso like that it cuts to images of separation (the one bird and one coin when before there were two). The main theme of the video seems to be the woman leaving the man, but to me this means that he was dead to begin with and she is moving on.
I am OBSESSED with this track. It is perfection. Everything from the vocals to the production & lyrics is top notch. What an awesome video to go along with it.
My favorite part is from 0:45 to 3:39! They way she is walking towards the camera and her different eye colors. Uh, it's just so amazing. I can't praise you guys enough.
I've been playing this on repeat since the moment I heard it through their Wavo remix contest. Singing along to it is such an emotional experience for me. Thank you Seeb, Highasakite, and the animators. Truly a masterpiece.

I just can't stop watching this one! Animators did so great job! And the music - it is so incredible! For a fact, before even seeing this animation, I imagined almost exactly what this animation portrayed.

I discovered Highasakite back in 2014 when Since Last Wednesday came out and honestly I've never looked at Scandinavian artists the same. Sigrid, Astrid S, Zara Larsson just to name a few along with Highasakite are my favorite.

I don't listen to much electronic music (unless it's of a darker, heavier, and more experimental kind), but, I love the very MitiS inspired vibe of the sound, songwriting, and melody progression. Plus the cyberpunk anime aesthetic really matches well with the soundscape created here. Hope to see more electronic music like this in the future.
