I'm so happy for Phillip! Ever since the beginning, when they announced that the next audition would be shocking, I was truly floored by him. He has such an amazingly humble and sweet personality. He's really something special :) And he definitely deserved to win the title of American Idol!

She's one of those girls who is just so wholesome and nice, that you can't help but like her. I'm not a fan of the show, but it seems like Phillip is the same way and they make a gorgeous couple. I always used to see her make status updates about his performances and how proud she is. She's been his rock and I'm glad they have each other.

Phillip won because he came up with his own arrangements. And it didn't hurt that he has a killer smile, gorgeous eyes, and a humble personality. America likes someone who does things their way. It's not just the guitar (but it helps to play an instrument because it's not easy for everyone to play and sing at the same time); it's how someone makes a song their own that impresses most people. Jessica has great vocal skills, but she always went the route of imitating the originals (not easy).
Guys don't be so rude, Phillip said that she's one of the reasons he auditioned for American Idol, she keeps him grounded and she's supportive of him, all in all you should be glad Phillip has a girlfriend like her, in a way she kind of reminds me of the girl version of Phillip! I didn't watch at all this season but phillip does seem likable and I wish him the best definately. Same can be said for Jessica, who may end up doing better because she came in 2nd. The runner ups usually always have better careers.

Come on.. that was as powerful a move as it was for Britney Spears when Maddonna kissed her! And when Randy Jackson gave him props for being his own man when he didnt want to conform to the stylist wishes and pick out nice clothing saying he is what he is I am what I am not gonna change just gonna be me..Randy allowed it.
