If you want to corrupt a sport and eventually ruin it just allow betting on it I definitely am against gambling of any sort especially on dirt track racing
Gambling on Midget racing was huge in the 1920s and 1930s in NY and NJ .However the Mafia soon took control over it .I am guessing they are going to try it this time with just sucker bets (parlays) and gimmick betting .If they go strait up betting .(Win place show )the mob will be all over it .

It is going to be great times at Sopranos Speedway ..They already have the booze and you know Pot is not far behind ( Cali tracks already stink of weed) The 50/50 draw is just a form of the numbers racket .They will have some Shylocks working the place they just have to figure out the prostitution angle and you can Forget About It .
@EdWinnota How about you use yours, if they really wanted to fix a race doing it via in race communication would be the dumbest way to go about it. Especially in a form of racing that heavily relies on outside competitors showing up.
Wow. Not sure how I feel about gambling in sprint car racing. I’m not a big gambler myself, but it just seems weird to me. I just hope it doesn’t lead to corruption. That would kill the sport I love so much. Great work!
Gambling? there goes the sport, the fixes will be in just like the major sports. Oh yeah those you mentioned will always play by the rules 😂 we all know better.
Exactly. I see comments saying more money is better for the teams and driver. No! The bookees are the ones making the money and the house always wins. Betters will likely be race fans and will loose money. Stop trying to make dirt track racing like stick and ball sports and NASCAR.
Even with the rain Butler will be v dusty. Been there for years and they don’t put enough water on it. And at 40. Bucks to get in I like to see the cars. Not dust. !!!
They need to rate the tracks and not go back to the ones that don’t do a good job of taking care of the tracks to make it good racing and to see the race. Why do you pay good money to see a race and not be able to see it.
If USAC uses some of the betting revenue to increase prize money then great, the gap between woo/hl vs usac prize money has gotten pretty wide as pointed out with brady bacon this season
Anything for a buck! What next? Be like NASCAR and promote Pride Month? If that happens, I'll walk away from dirt track racing just as I did from NASCAR! It looks like Donnie Kreitz found some new sponsorship money for his car, that thing was a rocketship this weekend. I bet Lance was shocked when Logan blew by him!
I am down with gambling. I see a lot of negativity here, but every single legit sport in the entire world has gambling tied to it. It's a great way to boost revenue and viewership as well.
Basketball and baseball are rife with corruption.just look at the current scandals .Football has countless betting scandals in the past .Hockey has skated around any major gambling issues because betting on it is so new .Gambling on racing might be good thing but then again it might not but don't compare it to the other sports because it is very different.
Gambling can be a huge financial benefit for the drivers and teams. There are a lot of short sighted comments here. The purses can get much larger, and this naturally prevents any sort of “race fixing”. The sports books are not dumb, they will make sure the betting limits do not exceed possible purse winnings and again the idea of “throwing a race” wouldnt make sense as it would pay more to win than any bet the sports book would allow.
From the drivers maybe. But remember the purse is split up between car owner and driver and you don't know the %. And remember the bookie is the one with much more exposure than just odds for one driver. So if the odds are that lopsided the driver can throw the race to take a bigger payout than the winners take. AND most importantly the OFFFICIALS don't apply to your point. That is the KEY here.

Legalized gambling in dirt is NOT a good thing. If you can bet on something, that means it can be manipulated...
It's been manipulated since the globalist/illuminati organization called world racing group bought WoO. Flo tours are also fixed
There is reply to this comment that got censored, you have to sort by new to see it
Nothing was censored.
@@DIRTRACKR sometimes
Yep, comments have been removed in the past. I'll moderate as I see fit.
Not a fan of gambling in the sport, opens up alot of potential for corruption
This guy changed this video to different title after all these comments came in about gambling? Why? What are you hiding?
@@SamMayer-ig6twyeah I noticed that too

Look at the history of gambling in sports: it is inevitable that someone will "throw" a race for a big payday under the table.
Sorry, I don't like the gambling idea. Too much money will lead to corruption. It will happen with pro sports and already has.
They are already trying to script the bigger purse races, just going to get worse from here on out sadly. Back to local racing for me
Gamblers, Horse owners, and trainers have been rigging horse races for 150 years.
Hey Justin you forgot one congratulations Troy wagaman winning the Steve Smith Memorial at Lincoln Speedway Saturday night
Scripted races soon to follow. Yes it's possible with driver communications you cant hear
Many late model teams get traction control for the big events as well
You are aware anyone can get a scanner right?
😅
@@RacingVagabond obviously they would use an earpiece and internet communication and not radio. Let's use our brains a little bit here

No to gambling

With Larson stepping out of the 6 car for a while or maybe permanently, O’Neal might be a good choice for that ride
Sports betting in dirt track racing! Here we go . Outcome fixing.
Man, the BSC comments are hilarious🤣Great update dude!
on the gamblimg how long will it for usac to start rigging the races this is a very bad move
Gambling is not a good thing hope it fails
The racing in USAC has been bad enough lately. And now this. Not a good thing.
Racing in usac has been good?
Gambling? there goes the sport, the fixes will be in just like the major sports. Oh yeah those you mentioned will always play by the rules 😂 we all know better.
Seriously? Gambling, sad state of affairs
It SUCKED that Atomic rained out because I set quicktime and won my heat from 4th. Was starting 5th in the feature too.
Gambling in motorsports not a good idea. Look at horse racing and how corrupt that is.
With the Dream this week, let's have a Friday update!
I'm not a fan of gambling. I'll spent my money at the merch trailers. i have no interest in making casinos and their owners even richer.

If there is enough action competitors will be able to place bets with their local bookie...off the books
We will start seeing PHANTOM cautions for USAC races now. This is a bad move!
Wait... money is going to ruin dirt racing even more? No way man. It would make money because it's taking peoples money.
If USAC uses some of the betting revenue to increase prize money then great, the gap between woo/hl vs usac prize money has gotten pretty wide as pointed out with brady bacon this season
Loving the new Kubota tractor over your shoulder.
Oh good. Now racing can be as legit as boxing. /s

Wonder if it would make for higher payouts for all teams
Thanks for all you do Justin. Any future plans to team up with HTF because of the sponsorship connection? Would seem to be a great opportunity Sir.
Love getting breakfast at the whistle stop when at eldora!
Not sure what happened with your Big Deal results.
1. Cade Dillard
2. Jim Chisholm
3. Jake Timm
8. Bobby Pierce
16. RTJ (DNF)
18. Kennedy Swan (DNF)
As I replied elsewhere, I sorted MRP for lap leaders, and forgot to switch it back. It happens.
Man we were at the BIG DEAL, what a show! The 97 dominated all weekend. Great fans and awesome facility!
Mother Nature was trolling the whole weekend but otherwise it was fantastic.
Justin Sanders won with the SCCT on Saturday, fifth win in 5 races...
4th win in 4 races. Race #1 was rained out. Still dominating
Where did you get that podium info on the big deal 😭😭 Chisholm got second followed by timm, swan got 18 with a dnf and pierce ran 8th
I sorted MRP to show lap leaders, and never sorted it back. My bad.
Gambling on USAC, WoO, High limit? Won't they call this another version of Off Track Betting (OTB)? Daily doubles, trifectas, etc. I can see it now
Betting limits on niche sports are always low, people are overreacting as usual
I got $100 on Bobby every race.
Logan wagner was on a rail last night. Usac wingless was a good race to watch too. If they start betting, i wont be watching.
I agree I watched the highlights and I don’t think anyone would have hung with that car and him on that night. IMPRESSIVE IN DEED.
Pierce was 8th btw
That's what I thought. Did some people get DQ ?
@@Stuck-N-Illinois I see nothing about DQs on XR/Mississippi pages.
Why did you change the title
Because the previous title and thumbnail weren't getting folks to click.
