I think my favorite finish is the January piece, but of course the two you did for your parents really touched my heart. I have to have a light with a magnifier to stitch. Extremely new to floss tube and cross stitching after I put it aside almost 25 years ago and took up quilting. Recent major surgery caused me to not be able to use my longarm so I taught myself how to crochet thanks to Lori Holt now I’ve caught the cross stitch bug… Just browsing and hearing your name mentions on a few other flosstubes brought me here but I always like to see everyone’s first video. I do know I will be following you since we have the same tastes in cross stitch patterns.

You are a natural! My mom did foster care for troubled teens which led to my younger brother and his wife becoming parents to a wonderful boy! Such a cool story! I did tons of LK , then took over 10 years off from stitching... then returned when I saw the Christmas mystery sampler....and a lot of “ new” styles and designers! I got to see the Lizzie Kate models at the LNS in Wichita last year... very cool!!!!

You did great! Thank you for admitting you're a 1 piece at a time person. I struggle with starting multiple projects and leaving them. I'll try starting multiple projects again this year as soon as I finish my HAED, hopefully, in time for Maynia. The Ott magnifier with the light in it works great for linen. And, my mom had 7 Christmas trees in her home. Some weren't full size trees but they all had a theme. You can do it, too! Looking forward to seeing more of your fabulous stitching!

Or more online shops. I switched to Monaco last year and it takes a few tries and you’ll never look back! You’re brave for trying linen - I haven’t gotten that brace yet. I love dying my fabric- my husband thinks I’m a mad scientist when I’m boiling Monaco. Looking forward to seeing more videos in the future.

I burst into tears in a crowded hallway once it was over and even that was less embarrassing than standing up in front of a room full of people! Awesome first video!! Yep, I'm right there with you on the public speaking. I failed Speech class in Jr High because I wouldn't get up in front of the class and say my speech, lol. AND, it took forever for me to just start leaving comments on folks videos too. We are about the same age and all I've been stitching for the last year and a half, is Christmas patterns for the grands. And I love Lizzie Kate too, I've been doing my best to gather all that I can, cuz when these grandbabys get old enough to count and hold a needle, mawmaw is gonna have them a slew of patterns and 10 count tula to stitch on, lol. I did tons of LK , then took over 10 years off from stitching... then returned when I saw the Christmas mystery sampler....and a lot of “ new” styles and designers! I got to see the Lizzie Kate models at the LNS in Wichita last year... very cool!!!!

The Ott magnifier with the light in it works great for linen.
And, my mom had 7 Christmas trees in her home. Some weren't full size trees but they all had a theme. You can do it, too!

You did awesome! I also love Lizzie Kate, I basically am stitching some of the same ones you are. I also love in Vegas. Where do you like to spend your stitching money in town? Stitchers Paradise? Or more online shops. I switched to Monaco last year and it takes a few tries and you’ll never look back! You’re brave for trying linen - I haven’t gotten that brace yet. I love dying my fabric- my husband thinks I’m a mad scientist when I’m boiling Monaco. Looking forward to seeing more videos in the future.

Great first video!!! I’m right there with you on the public speaking thing...I had a presentation in my college Russian Philosophy class and no amount of preparation was going to make it easier. I burst into tears in a crowded hallway once it was over and even that was less embarrassing than standing up in front of a room full of people! You did a fantastic job with this and I hope to see more videos from you in the future!

So happy to see your first video. Love your finishes. I am the same i want to add a chalkboard tree and a family tree with scrapbooked ornaments but space is limited. Hopefully we will be moving at the end of the year or early 2020 so maybe i will have more room to add them then.

Awesome first video!! Yep, I'm right there with you on the public speaking. I failed Speech class in Jr High because I wouldn't get up in front of the class and say my speech, lol. AND, it took forever for me to just start leaving comments on folks videos too. We are about the same age and all I've been stitching for the last year and a half, is Christmas patterns for the grands. And I love Lizzie Kate too, I've been doing my best to gather all that I can, cuz when these grandbabys get old enough to count and hold a needle, mawmaw is gonna have them a slew of patterns and 10 count tula to stitch on, lol.
