Most realistic version of dolores having something that constantly bothered you and annoyed finally disappearing and believing it would never come back only for it to come back even worse then before would be devastating to anyone and to have it caused by the person you trusted most (Mirabell) would break them and she only silenced those who got in her way only harming others when necessary she only wanted to be free of the constant noise to finally be able to be normal. You got there reactions amazingly well mirabell was only concerned about dolores all the way through it.

still find it funny that with here powers she could literally just mute everything around her whenever she wanted. she didn't need to take the voices, just the sound that came after(as proven by her testing the plate, she could mute that sound too)
