- Today is the release date of not only the iPhone 7 but also the POKEMON GO PLUS DEVICE! Yes this bad boy has been in development for months and been sold-out across the globe; but today it finally was released and we managed to not only unbox the Pokemon Go Plus we also got to use the Pokemon Go Plus for a Full Day!

I think it's shit because it's £35 for a plastic button that tells you when eggs hatch or Pokemon appear because apparently it's to much effort to pull out your phone it's a piece of plastic that's a trend and not many people actually see what it's used for so yeah it's crap

yes, It will use 1 regular pokeball out of you items for each catch attempt.
It does and you can only use 1 and you can also catch new Pokemon with it, which is nice and shows a yellow light for new ones.

I live in Adelaide too and I am slowly narrowing down where you live. Also I think that just pressing the button on that device kinda takes away the fun of catching the Pokemon, you can't even see the Pokemon and you can't even see the Pokeball shaking. that's what makes it exciting isn't it?

2)On a scale of 1/10 how intense it the vibrate feature?
3)If it vibrates, can you catch said POKÉMON ON YOUR PHONE/ Will it vibrate for POKÉMON you have already caught (without the quick catching option)
Why whenever I close the Pokemon go app it always gives his notification that my Pokemon Go Plus session has ended. Why?
cause you have to have the Pokemon Go app open in the background while your phone is on screensaver
everyone that got one (including myself) have had problems with it.
1: the lag when pokemon pop up and in pokestops is too long
2: if you have it on, and see a rare pokemon you don't want to risk losing and you catch it without the Go Plus, it automatically disconnects from Bluetooth.
3: Most of the time it disconnects when you have it in sleep mode or running in the background (that's why his light blinked red when he was in his car)
4: It only throws ONE pokeball, it will either Catch it or run away. not recommended for rare pokemon you really want.
5: more pokemon run away with this thing, my list of run away pokemon trippled with the Go Plus
these are just some of the current problems so far. personally I don't think it was worth $35 (I agree with ITZLuke) maybe $20.
for all of you that didn't get one, don't worry. you aren't missing out on much. I'm sure Niantic will release the 2.0 version soon

My Pokemon GO Plus cost 75 pound for a second hand!! It was so worth it tho. It totally changes the game in a magical way!! Great review :P

Pokemon did the same thing with the PokeWalker from Heart Gold/ Soul Silver. It came with two backs to it, one that clipped and one smooth one w/out a clip, and it looked A LOT like this does.

it allows you to go to pokestops (lights up blue), catch Pokemon (only ones you already have (it will tell you if there's one you don't have nearby)) and it will track your distance for eggs without having your phone running the app!

usefull when it rains, when you're on a bike or rollers usefull within a crowed or at school /work sure it removes the fun part of actually catching the pokemons but for me whos only p^laying to get from point a to point be i see the use plus it's always cool to have pokemon merchandise :D

When the Pokémon go plus tries to catch a Pokémon, what ball does it use. Default regular ball and no raspberry. Can you change that.
They should add Pokemon go to Fitbit blaze. Everyone would get it, and then people could see how active they are.
I don't know whether it's like this at other schools, but our school grounds are really quite big, yet there are never ANY pokemon there. I think they managed to make it so pokemon don't show up in schools (which is kinda clever but annoying lmao)
