the dedication needed to make a recap after losing the deserving chance of challenging world championship is remarkable, what a LEGEND, love this guy.
"Perseverance is not a long race; it is many short races one after the other". - Walter Elliot
Amazing tournament and thank you for all your work with the recaps. You scoring those three wins in a row was absolutely thrilling!
Thank you (and the other players aswell) for an insane tournament. ´Tension from day one until the last second, incredible opening variety, everyone gave what they had. Chess spoke for itself and i had a blast! All the best, Martin
love how you ended the game with all the pieces gone. it was a pretty ending when you were stuck with a draw. your journey throughout the candidates was exciting and fun to watch. you always showed up to play. thank you again for all the recaps. it made it even better for the fans. good luck recovering.
You are the reason why I watched the whole candidates, live, from The Netherlands... so yeah, yesterday was a late night for me haha. I loved it. Best of luck in the Cassablance tournament, will be watching.
I have a lot of respect for you Hikaru. The way you have handled the Kramnik accusations, and now the up and downs of this tournament is just incredibly professional and mature. All the best!
Bro, I literally just watched the match. When he ends the match does he say, "Sorry no interviews, I need to stream as I'm a streamer first and a chess GM second."
congrats bro, great watching you!
Good stuff man, what a tournament, kept us on the edge of our seats till the very end. Congrats on finishing second against a great field and tied for first for the most wins. it will be a good year of chess and content.
You done so well! Happy to see you’re not overly disappointed, since Gukesh played an excellent game and there wasn’t a real winning chance in this game. Kudos to your performance and engagement with all of your fans!
With best regards from Germany 👋🏻
Magnus : Gukesh will loose some , win some game , put him will do poorly category
Gukesh :
(This comment is about Life , pls don't get offended if you are Magnus Fan just like me)
Magnus not a some kind of wizard. He talk with his experience against them. Gukesh new compare to others. we still don't know how strong he is.
Its like compare rohit sharma or kohli with newer player. we all bet on rohit or kholi but sometime newer one perform well in tournament.
Did you even watch the video?
Vishy said the same
@@johnniewalker8186yeah moreover pragg is magnus favourite.
Thank you all for your response, but just telling you about, one can't predict others future just by Ratings or past performance
You don't know how stronger they are from Inside.
GREAT TOURNEY HIKARU!!!
You fucking crushed it in this tournament man. Really awesome stuff towards the end, congrats and there’s always a next time.
You gave your best shot . Picking up the pieces after heartbreaking losses and then winning games in a row you have not won the candidates but won our hearts ❤❤❤. Lots of love to you from India and keep entertaining us from your upcoming games❤❤😊😊
Damn man, I don't know how you've maintained this Zen attitude through all this chaos, it's seriously impressive. Thanks for all the recaps, it's fascinating to get this kind of insight.
Hikaru I just want you to know that we're so proud of you. You'll come back stronger as always.
always liked seeing your recap as a GM you talk about everything from a human's perspective. Seeing what the computer says is drama and definitely a good time still. But understanding what is a realistic move for a person to spot is great.
Hikaru, it was an absolute joy to watch you during the candidates. I rooted for you in the end and was hoping Fabi could benefit from your draw, but regardless of outcome it felt good to really care about the outcome (with a minor heartbreak it didn’t come out the way I hoped). Thank you for bringing chess into my life in a new way
Hikaru - Giving it all over the board,.,.,and giving what's left after each round with the recaps...is...the definition of masterclass..
Believe me when i say this - Almost Every Indian was rooting for Hikaru..after Gukesh for obvious reasons..
❤ from India Hikaru...
You r a LEGEND..no matter what..✅
What a treat that everyone played so hard and that hikaru was willing to recap everything he did. Thank you!!!
Was waiting for your video 🥹
It's soo hilarious how he plays his game, goes to his studio and dismantles it for the World.
Hikaru is setting up new benchmarks and an examplary example of dedication for generations, even though he's already one of the best in the World.
You came in 2nd place via tiebreaks. If Ding decides not to defend his title you take his place
Ding has just become world champion. He is not Magnus
Congratulations on an amazing tournament!! ❤
We were watching the match on the projector in our dorm, all night. (I am from India)
I know you from xQc; so I was rooting for Gukesh and you since the beginning.
People were screaming at the end of the Ian and Fabi match.
GG all of y'all. ❤❤❤
Was rooting was guki from the bottom of my heart, but won't forget the fight you fought. My heartly congratulations to gukesh and also to you, keep it up champ and don't let this lose get over you❤
Man I gotta admit, I really supported you and wanted you to win. So I was heartbroken when it didn’t happen. But drawing on second place is just awesome. Specially in your case. Congratulations and you put up a great fight! 👍
Gukesh had a fucking amazing run. Props to all players, incredibly happy to see history being written.
We are very proud of your performance, Hikaru! GGs
Gukesh has done it. So proud of him.

Hikaru is just amazing.... Chess needs Hikaru, man!!!
Whereas others need chess...
Great mentality to have with everything that happened. thank you for the recaps! no one else does anything close to what you do and your fans appreciate it!
Gukesh really deserved his tournament win, he played the best out of all candidates. You did well Hikaru, and it's nice to see you acknowledging his tournament superiority. Congratulations to you on shared 2nd place and a great remontada, as well as posting every day video analysis!
Hikaru just couldn't wait😂
As was I
