My heroes! I am a first year high school head coach. I grew up looking up to these guys, and I have an aggressive and intense coaching style as well. One of my wrestlers told me his mom was angry with me because of how I yelled at him during his match. He was getting pinned and looked right at me like he was asking if it was ok to give up. I jumped up and screamed, "Don't you quit. We do not quit." I continued to yell, "Fight! Fight! Fight!" He did. He stayed off of his back until the match was over and didn't get pinned. I was so proud of him, and immediately let him know. After telling me that his mom was angry with me, he looked at me and said, "Coach, you are the only reason I didn't quit. I wanted to...and I thought about it...but I didn't." That's the best compliment I've ever received, and it's what makes having so many moms hate me worth it. Thanks for the inspiration!

I'll admit, not the biggest Brands brothers fan, but they are good at what they do. They have earned every bit of recognition they get.

He gave them a compliment. Maybe its the fact their (you might want to learn this word) wrestlers act like babies when they lose. HHMM, wonder where they get that from. Like Marinelli (countless times) against OSU last week. Happens all the time.

No one cares. They reached the pinnacle of their sport. What did you achieve by being so “respectful” ?
They appear unstable and immature, like they still play with their Hot Wheels and GI Joe action figures. Great coaches and motivators, but classless.
They got the absolute most out of their very limited athletic talents.
