There was a couple of those around here working up set aside acres, and I followed them from one town to the next at 42 MPH!! I'd never seen one before here in Iowa before. What a hoot!!
Very nice, I was one of the few lucky ones here in the US to get to drive a Fastrac, it was a 2003 3190, I stacked straw with it. Only other one I saw while working those 2 summers was the other Fastrac my Boss had. Quite a dream to drive, I count myself privileged.
Nice video George. She does sound sweet but I think she sounds better in the fields may be because there`s less wind noise and we can hear her growling.
This video never gets old, the sound of that Fast Track is just music to a mechanics ears `And Others` but there is just so much BASS in that stack that I could listen to you driving around the world over and over, as also mentioned this is a old video but never becomes old to watch, keep these type of videos coming through George ;)
at first i thought the title read out "One Very Angry Fast Race" until i looked again, love the camera positioning, deep and bassy growl on rev-up from idle.
@@chmarr The JCB Fastrac 7270 P-Tronic tractor was built in England by JCB as part of the JCB Fastrac Range. It features a 260 hp (190 kW) Cummins engine.
Want this for commuting to work....that sound is wicked! For such a large farm equipment, its really quick on its feet too....farm vehicle 'with PDK'!!
Passing Paggers on the left (my hometown) and i won't begin to tell you the speeds i achieved going up Chicheley hill, and the even faster speeds going back down. LoL that was always known as Aston`s un-official test track & we could often hear them flogging a car up that hill, now living in Australia, ta ta.
George is the exhaust on your Fastrac stock? I have watched many other Fastrac videos and they just don't growl a lot or perhaps its your camera work?? Anyways its the best!!
I knew I recognized the beautiful growl of this L6 engine. It is practically the same Cummins engine that equips some models of Ford Cargo and VW trucks in Brazil. L6 diesels are definitely the engines with the best sounds among combustion engines.
:) :) Love your traveling videos. Can't get over the number of roundabouts / 4 lanes !!!!! When I was growing up around that area, 60 plus years ago, never saw them and it was all two lane (narrow) roads.
I love the sound of that tractor ,, it really sounds nice when you hear the turbo spooling ,,and then you get to high gear and it has that menacing growl only sound i've found that compares to it is the 12V-71TT Detroit 2 stroke diesel in my big truck listening to it scream when i'm climbing a hill in low gear I wish the tractors in the US went that fast ,,most everything here is lucky if it makes 25MPH maybe 28
Holy crap this thing sounds mean! Love that takeoff at 1:21 - that growl! Do all JCB Fastracs have the 5.9L 24 valve Cummins or 6.7L? And I swear it sounds like an automatic! What kind of transmission is in these JCB's, and how do they work? I'm really interested in this stuff.
Did you carry on along the A422 through Bedford George? That engine would have woken a few of them up in the centre of Bedford! Would love to have seen a video of that. I once did a trip in my 2155 all the way from Moreton-in-Marsh to Landquip’s at Fressingfield in Suffolk to have a demount Sprayer fitted. My journey took me along the A421 through Milton Keynes but along the Bedford Southern bypass. That journey in a car usually takes 3-3.5 hours. I left home at 9am thinking if i get there by 4pm, that would be ok. I’d got a flask and some sandwiches to keep me alive. I bloody got there just after 1pm! 4 hours! If there hadn’t have been any roadworks in Buckingham, I’d have done it sooner. Fantastic tractors those JCB Fastracs.
Nice ride home George ( bit chilly though lol) someone on a bike good job the legend wasn't driving. Doesn't she sound lovely. Another great video keep them coming
What's the mpg like on the fastrac? I ask as after this video I want to dump my daily driver for one! Commuting 60 miles each way would never get dull.
It sounds like the timing isn't quite right on the shifting at times, I don't doubt about George's shifting skills any bit though. May it be because of the heavy load? Specifically in the lower gears it seems to make a delay around the end of the gear range before it shifts up. Is this an effect of shifting under load? Dat sound tho :")
MrSaemichlaus As I understand it he runs in automatic on the roads, so the timing of the shifts is decided by the computer depending on load and how hard the throttle is being pressed
Lewis Mooring they are but they all go alongside a redway that is made for cycles so to be on the safe side stay off the dual carriageways and stick to the redways where possible im Milton Keynes as there are lots of dickhead drivers
That gearbox is amazing. That's a quick shift for a car let alone a tractor!
I am just amazed how many gears are there, gears have sub gears
@@jaybee5265 it’s devided in groups and gears group a for example has 4 gears or so
50 mph in a fastrac, damn good driving. You could make a fortune selling that sound to the electric car owners.
He’s doin more like 43 mph
There was a couple of those around here working up set aside acres, and I followed them from one town to the next at 42 MPH!! I'd never seen one before here in Iowa before. What a hoot!!
If you could sell that sound in a box you would be a millionaire in a week, thanks George.
Just make it a sound for fs19
Hell who needs a car just put road tires on a Fasttrac.
And you don't need to pay tax or insurence
You don't even need road wheels, normal wheels are more than enough...
Get an Aul 1135 75k put an open gearbox in her 85k easy
@@matthew945 sounds like a dodge 12 valve Cummins
You dont even need a full driver's license just a provisional
Man i could listen to that exhaust note all day !!! sounding great. keep the quality vids coming george
The acceleration was the best part lovely sound
That 7270 would sound amazing with a straight pipe!
CarolinaFarmWeld, Akrapovic exhaust system would be even better :P
Levi 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
How about a nice Yoshimura?
Merlin Mulberry
CarolinaFarmWeld. I was just thinking the same

I love the sound of them blip down shifts on the hills so nice with weight on.
Completely agree.

that turbo whistle/blow off

ironic you think that then you find out ..... its a volvo engine

Some were apparently expecting a road rage incident. Nice sounding engine you have there!
you might want to check your title (Fatsrac)

Anger issues Daan Snippe?
Bill Long yeh but when it does it is still cold until summer
just wondering what you were pulling behind you George?
Still amazed at the speed that tractor can pull at.Happy New Year!
Angry tractor, but that turbo sure sounds *sweeeeeeet*.
Love how she can shift gear, like lightning and that sound 😮
on voit que le chauffeur connais la route 😉 beau bruit 💪👏❤️
JCB, same tractor, twice the growl. Now with new Cummins diesel, even louder than a mud truck!
This is the slow fast track yet again the fast one that goes 150 mile an hour as it aerodynamic body with a front splitter and a rear diffuser
There seems to be a lot of roundabouts in your neck of the woods but that sound is awesome.
that thing sounds really nice!
They aren't kidding about Milton Keynes having roundabouts are they!? Love the sound of that Cummins!
I did like the sound of the engine!!
smooth........ very smooth....great driving and audio
That beast sounds like it's 6BT-powered! Is it?
Despite the fact that I didn't see any anger, I liked the engine sound and many roundabouts
My God.... How fast will that thing go? Sounds like a sports car instead of a tractor.
Generally the maximum speed of most models is 65 km/h (40 mph) but other speeds both slower (40 km/h) and faster (80 km/h) are produced
***** If the tractor can go fast then someone might think of tuning them since they must had some computer in it.
Johnny Holland es
were I live in sweden the fasttrac can go up to 70 km/h.

The sound of JCB. Very good.
How many focking roundabouts is there in england!!

If you want to hear and see a Fastrac try a 185/65 under load on the open road hauling 18 ton of potatoes "a memories".
Damn George how fast will that thing go, it would need to have tires balanced at that rate of speed.
120 km/h I think
Well, there's videos of these things overtaking lorries on motorways, when geared for it, they can move lol
Amazing sound
Really ?!!!
some shound off that beast jcb all the way keep the videos comming
Wow, 9 gears shifts in 3 minutes, incredible 😮
Are you going round Milton Keynes ,that's roundabout hell, used to deliver there when being built bloody nightmare.
that's some downright sexy, dirty exhaust burbles you going. only thing that comes close is the old scoobys.

which country is this...so beautiful & cold climate...& of course aggressive driving of a JCB too...I love driving.

Absolutely wonderful sound george from a diesel head.UKPete
Why do we not have tractor gearing in cars? Both fun and fast!
