My first wig, Impressive in light blonde arrived yesterday. I was confident enough to wear it for a Zoom meeting. Still it is refreshing to see it on you again. I felt a little frustrated in trying to style it because it wouldn't lay exactly as I wanted it to. You hit the nail on the head when you say to let it be messy, I think I was trying too hard to control it. The proof was in the pudding when I received TONS of compliments during my Zoom meeting!

Because of your video, I just received my Tony Brattin, Impressive in Light Blonde. I loved it immediately straight out of the box. This is me. Impressive fits me perfectly, snug, but not tight. The color is perfect for me. I used to wear shags back in the day, lol. The hair is so soft as compared to my higher end wigs. The density is perfect too. Thank you so much. Jill! You are my new best friend!! I just received "Trendsetter" in plus size, light blonde, and I LOVE it! Oh my goodness, where has this beauty been all my (wig) life? I know I have a big head - almost 23" circumference - but I have been wearing Raquel Welch and Jon Renau in average. I decided to try this one in the larger cap size, and it really fits nicely. Not so much like a vice grip! I can hardly wait to get another one, maybe Casually Chic! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.

You are just so pretty no gorgeous is more like it!!! I love this wig on you. I am going to order it today. It will be my first wig so I hope I can make it look exactly like you did. Thanks, Jill. Your comments were right on. While they are similar, your descriptions were perfect: the Trendsetter is just edgier, and women just should LET GO and let it be. I do wish Toni's rooting was a bit lighter/softer in color, but you look so cute in either one. Thanks for showing the caps, too, because that may be a big consideration for some women. Your videos are always so helpful.

My problem is the wefting is so wide that if there was a little wind..the back would sooo look wiggy.

Gammy's going Gray yes, I noticed that too on my other Tony B gray wig. What I don’t like also is how flat the gray color is. There is no dimension or contrast with in the gray color. Looked like just gray paint. I sent it back and ordered one form Godiva Secret wigs.

Great comparison! I have the TB Classic Bob showing up today and Timeless is showing up hopefully this week. My own hair is short pixie that hasn’t seen a stylist since March. I tried the Fabulous wig but it kind of looked like a cat curled up on my head. Most likely that’s because I’m not used to that much hair! I think the two wigs on the way will be easily to “flatten” a little, for sure the Bob.

hi Thanks you for doing this comparison it was very clear how different they are and BOTH are so cute. You look good in many wigs...ok heres a new one...silver is a new trend...ie don't color your hair anymore...not sure if its due to the fact salons have been closed or what but ...I actually think its been trending awhile...would you consider...doing a review on a rene of paris wig called Cameron...in silver stone? I purchased mine from mimis wig boutique in Dallas... its up your alley ,,, reminds me of reece! keep up the good work!

I just received this wig from Patti's Pearls. This is the 3rd wig I've tried as somebody who is new to wigs. I like it the best of all that I've tried, and you're right, you really don't need to do anything with it out of the box. It is already nicely styled. Now I just need to get used to the look of more volume. My bio hair is very fine, so I will need to get used to this look, but I am happy with it so far.
I have Trendsetter and found it to be too small for me. Now I know why, because it isn't an open cap all the way around. I loved it so much, I ordered a large, and that was way too big. I should try Impressive, hopefully it will be comfortable. Great video!
Hi PJ. I'm between sizes: I have a 23" circumference, but am average everywhere else. Like you, I tried a Plus size Toni Brattin and it didn't work.
Look for a video by Godiva's Secret Wigs on how to make a wig circumference larger by inserting a small piece of elastic around the perimeter. It works
beautifully and you won't have the too-large wig annoyance of the wig rubbing where your ear meets your head ("Ear, meet head"). There's another video
out there that uses 90% rubbing alcohol, sprayed all over the elastic, to enlarge it. Haven't tried that one yet, but it gets very positive comments.
Did you try the adjustment bands on the wigs?
Carefree is the key word for this line..I find it amazing that NOW all the wig reviewers who are showing reviews on wig sites are reviewing Toni Brattin..obviously you started something. That being said, some do not spend any time playing with them, as you do ( thank you for THAT!). They kinda just explain a little..I watch and think...hmmm. guess they are actually wig snobs, doing this as their site owner asked them to do so. You have given me NEW hair, that I do not have to feel guilty ( as I am NOT WEALTHY) shelling out about $300 to get home. Yet can wear them ALL DAY, without itch, without headaches, without the ear tabs popping up due to my glasses. I am a creative, so you playing with these wigs, using fingers and etc, have given me many ways to get great looks. JUST WANTED TO THANK YOU FOR DOING THEM JUSTICE, AS NO ONE ELSE DOES. Sadly the 'models' on QVC and most of the hosts cause them to look wiggy..AND THIS LINE IS NOT...I think a root also helps that. Lt blond is great!! Wigs by Patties Pearls are great to deal with also!

I ordered a Toni Brattin wig a couple of years ago and it arrived sooo large even though it was an average that I returned it and didn’t want to try again but this gives me hope! My head size is just an average... a Rene of Paris Audrey average is actually snug. Maybe the wig size I received was just a fluke. This gives me renewed hope to try another Tony Brattin Wig probably Impressive because I think that Trendsetter would be too much hair for my face. But I’m going to have to decide on a shade to order and her shades are somewhat limited. The light blonde looks wonderful on you but I’m not sure it would on me! Thanks again!

review (!) of Impressive and bought her and I'm straight-up in love. Light Blonde all the way, baby. Prettiest color ever. I have grey sideburns
that blend right into the ashy blonde. The wefts in the back showed a bit at first, until I kinda flattened it down a tad. And while I wish
she had better coverage at the sideburns, I've found that blending in my own hair not only camouflages it, it makes it utterly undetectable.
Impressive looks like a grown-out, peroxided pixie. Think Guy Fieri from Diners, Drive-Ins + Dives. That kinda blond. I'm now waiting to
get Trendsetter and Classic Bob in the mail, both in Light Blond. My husband and I both consider Impressive to be The One and as you've
said, "It's SO stinkin' cute!"

Comparing wigs is so good. They don’t seem to have that yellowish tone. I really like PY Jamie Lyn ,except for that and the itching. The Tony B. has great shape hair cut. ....and the profile is so cute......and your profile so nice! If ya get my drift. Mine has changed a great deal since the quarantine. When I go for walks I feel as if I’m waddling thru pudding. 🤣See ya~Lee

So sad, order an Impressive on March 27 but UPS lost my package, Patti's costumer service is trying to find it, I really need it, I only have the Ignite but I am waiting for the new Impressive so I can wash my Ignite, I am worried that it will not come out the same, lol...praying for my Impressive to get home...you look very nice as always and thanks for another video.
I was just like you when it was time to wash my first wig for the very first time. Haha! I put it off for wayyyyy longer than I should have, bc it was so much prettier after I washed(I use woolite for colors and free and clear downy on all my wigs both synthetic and HD)it. Just hung upside down to dry, and within 3 hours she was ready to go. Jill had a video on here showing how to wash your wig, and that’s how I’ve done mine since. Quick and easy and works well for me. My Ignite was washed before I ever wore it bc it was too silky, and I used too much hairspray! It turns out beautiful each time I wash it!
@@marandamcallisterjoiner6982 Thanks Maranda, I have washed my Julianne, it came out with the curls a bit undone, did the woolite and the downy, it was all Ok but I think I need t put some curls on her so I am waiting for my Impressive ( if she ever gets here ) my Ignite was only used about 5 times and I wear a cap under my wigs so it's not bad but summer is coming so I need another wig, today I have ordered a Chelsea by JR...hope one of them gets here soon...as you might tell I am new to wigs, I did a bit too much dry shampoo to my Ignite, same as yours, it was quite shinny before, thanks.

Trendsetter in red-blonde has been my go to this summer. Now I’m really thinking I need Impressive! Because Toni’s wigs are not very dense I would highly recommend taking off the white tags in the back so they don’t show 😯
I purchased Trendsetter. I am a natural redhead, but not a dark red, so I decided to go with Red Blonde. It's just too blonde. The red is only in the underneath in the back. I've only just started my wig journey and have purchased 8 wigs, but I can't find a good red. Frustrating. I enjoy your videos! Thanks.

Hi Jill. I love your tutorials on wigs. I am new to wig wearing. I have a thinning crown and am having trouble getting my toppers to feel secure. I knew nothing about caps, fibers or the different brands. I have three and I would like to know how to store them when I am not wearing them. Thank you.

Toni Brattin, if you're listening, PUH-LEEZ make a style like Trendsetter with a longer (3.5-4") nape and a style like Impressive with a longer (4.5-5") bang. I cannot believe no one w/better cap features cannot replicate (and improve) Noriko's bestselling, "Sky". Jill, great job as usual.
My Toni B. is about 4 months old has dried out so much it looks like damaged overbleached hair ...only wear once in a while. What can I do, if anything, Thanks

I'm 30 years old and a student/resident care provider. I have some hair loss due to my PCOS/endometriosis. I've tried the dread extensions as my style is more like boho chic. I do keep a big break for my hair now and I lost so much hair comparing it when I was a teenager. Does this wig look ”wiggy”, shiny? Affordable but I'm not sure how would it look like working in this all day with kids. Thanks for your help.

Both very pretty wigs. Could always buy lighter wig to wear in summer and the heavier wig in winter.
Hi Mary! Yes...great idea. I find both quite light ...the closed cap of the Trendsetter isn't even as warm as other closed caps that I have. However, still wouldn't be AS cool as Impressive for those warmer days. ;)
Is the color light blonde a warm yellow color or cool ash?
I'm so afraid to buy a full wig, I got my first topper yesterday and really don't know how to wear it 😓 but with my hair falling out I need to learn very quick!
My hubby came up to me and tried to flatten the back flip down!! He said "Your hair is sticking up in back!" I had to tell him "Thats popular now! He thought I was nuts........ha ha

Hi Brenda! I also recently started using the Treseme' #4 hairspray on my Toni Brattin wigs because I have seen Toni herself use it on them! It's the black can w/ the green stripe. ;). BUT the BeautiMark Style & Hold hairspray for synthetic wigs is also very good.

I also bought the V-Magic but I didn’t have your link then but I will next time. Too bad it doesn’t come in a gallon tub.. it’s really helped me a lot. Now if I could solve the dry eye problem! Could you possibly describe the Color of the wig you were wearing in the beginning… I think it was Ellen Wille. The color looks really pretty and I’m really not familiar with her colors at all. It looks similar to Palm Springs blonde. What would you compare it to? I am a shaded biscuit or biscuit or Palm Springs blonde girl. Those are pretty much my favorite colors! Thanks!
Are you still using a wig cap and It Stays for the wigs you wear all day or have you switched this up? What about for hot summer days? Can the It Stays sweat off?
Hello! I usually will forgo the wig grip for It Stays and a low pony in back if I am wearing all day. Since the It Stays is indeed water soluble...I suppose in theory it could cause issues if you live in a warm, humid climate and or sweat a lot. I have sweat in my wigs w/ the It Stays...and while it stayed tacky'er' all day...it stayed put. HOWEVER we do not live in a particularly humid/hot climate. ;). You may try a wig grip instead if you do. They also make cotton wig socks that are supposed to be cool and will wick away moisture (I have never tried one). Thanks for watching, Kimberly!

Been waiting almost four months for the 3 Toni Brattin wigs I ordered, I keep checking with pattis pearls, and NBW and they still have no idea when they will get them in. I’m about ready to just get my money back but they are so cute I really would like to try them☹️. So frustrating

Can you suggest wigs that don't have so much hair, not sure of the term. I just got the Trendsetter in Blond Brown and the color, for me, is horrid plus just too much hair or permatease. It's going back 🙁. Thanks
Hi there! How many wigs have you tried? If this was your first wig....or even VERY early into your wig journey...you may be having that new to wigs feeling. I say this because the density of her wigs are VERY good. They do not have a lot of hair, and VERY low on permatease (including the Trendsetter). Try playing with it a bit more...put some clips or a cute headband...and wear it around the house. Your minds eye will get use to seeing yourself with a nice head of hair! ;). We are use to seeing ourselves the way we have been for years, and when you put a wig on it could be overwhelming for awhile. I have a series called NEW TO WIGS? and it's a great place to start! However, the color issue can be deal breaker if you hate it. ;)

Cocolalla Kid You should take a look at Jill Lynn’s video of the Toni Brattin Classic Bob. Mine just showed up today and it doesn’t have a LOT of volume, or at least you can smooth it down. It doesn’t have all the floof or curls. It’s still more volume than what my natural hair would have at this length but I have super fine thin hair.

Hello Margo! All the TB wigs I have ordered have been rooted. HOWEVER, Toni has her own website (separate from QVC) and ALL the wigs there are NOT rooted and also NOT heat friendly. ;)

Jill, I enjoy your videos but I expected my Impressive wig to look like yours. It is going back. I found it warm, too small for my average sized head, the stays were almost non-existent and soft. The back was thin and you could see through it. Boo hoo.
WHen comparing the wigs, you tended to just say "this one" without telling us the name. It would be more helpful if you would just explain one wig and then explain the other. It was too confusing.
