I have 6 power band 1st Gen with the bass boost. Holy smokes sound awesome. I will say the bass boost made a decent difference I can hear it way better on freeway..
That's good to know! I'll be getting the bass boost upgrade later this month.
Tone is more crisp
I agree, I'm interested to hear the difference when I update them with the bass boost update.
Hey mate, did you upgrade to bass boost yet? How much did you pay? Does it make a tangible difference?
Yes I did. The service to add the bass boost came to about $200 total. It's just a flash to the power band 100w speakers. It is noticeable. Nothing crazy but at lower speeds the bass is amplified. The more speakers you have, the better it'll sound.
@@motorcyclemishifts4640 excellent. Where did you did the flash? Here in Melbourne MCAS, they haven't heard about it.
Johnny k's Indian dealership. If you go in Indians website under audio you'll find the flash.
Ty. But why did you not get Gen 2 w bass
Gen1 and gen 2 are the same except for the glow light. If you're coming from a stock 50w setup, you would still have to purchase the bass boost upgrade for the 100w speakers. They had a sale on the gen 1's so I saved some money. I haven't gotten the bass boost upgrade yet. I will be doing it soon and I'll post a follow up video when I do.
