to each his own. i dont think everything has to necessarily rhyme to get emotion out of it. changing her to him doesn't exactly mean its any less sincere. its just a different point of view.
If you changed the first line "Am I better off a quitter" to "Am I better off quittin'" it would still work. Still, this cover is beautiful.

By far the best cover of this song I've heard and believe you me I've heard them all, dare to say It's just as good as the original. PHENOMENAL vocals and instrumental arraignment. Do youtube and all of us users a favor and KEEP SINGING, it's rare talent like yourself that makes hours of youtube searching worth it.. GREAT JOB!
Don't take this the wrong way: I once disliked your voice in some on your earlier covers (or at least I thought I did), but it has either grown on me, or I listened to the wrong covers. I started to realize how refined and unique your voice is when I listened to your covers with Jake, and recently I was listening to one of your covers with KaitWeston, and your voice stood out; It just stuck out.
I guess what I am trying to say is you are awesome and don't let other people tell you otherwise.
