THANKS! I subbed to get all the up to date info on ATS. I played it last in '21 but once Iowa is available I'm getting back into it. I think then; I will stick with ATS only and not install the Coast to Coast or other full maps...what is your opinion on them?
Coast to Coast surely makes the game world huge. However, most areas feel very similar and boring. That’s kinda expected in a fan made mod. You could definitely do that and wait for official DLC releases.
@@71Gaming I agree 100% I had the coast to coast mod for a long time. It was fun going cross country, but it was the same repeated towns or interchanges every time. It was vast areas of open space with nothing there. With the vanilla map + DLC each state "feels" and looks different. Texas doesn't look at all like Washington state for example. Coast to Coast mod, everything basically looks the same, a generic eastern biome. I had mexico, canada dream and coast to coast at one time. But honestly from a logistics standpoint, if you have a lot of third-party mods, especially map mods, you have to constantly keep them updated. They will likely break your game each major game update. So you have to go back to the developer site and redownload/install an updated version for each mod. It's such a huge hassle, whereas most mods on steam get automatically updated in the game as the developers update them. That happened several times when I had the map mods and I finally decided it wasn't worth it, so now I just keep with the vanilla/dlc maps. Most of my mods are thru steam now with a few third-party addon truck/vehicle or traffic mods. I do wish ATS would incorporate seasons. They have done winter before I think but it was only on World of Trucks, not the regular single player game.

That's my take also!
Will these change during gameplay or you can only have one season
I mentioned that, you have to activate them manually one at a time
@@71Gamingit's a shame we can't have dynamic seasons
@@duffinthemuffin5792 Maybe one day we will
Is it safe to enable all 5 of them at the same time? Or is it dependent on which one you wanna use season-wise?
Only one season at a time
are they all up to date to the 1.51 update?
Most of them are, it says in the title when you go to the website
This kept on giving me virus’s
